Late to the party oh well...

Episode 3

Garbage. More still images and speed lines then I'd care to see in an entire season of a show much less a single episode...Barely anything of worth happened besides some chara introductions.

The "training" was a general waste of time and they might as well of skipped it entirely like I hear the manga did. The show still suffers from trying to force its drama as hard as possible at all moments with absurd character expressions constantly being slapped on them...Not every single possible thing needs to be SUPER SERIOUS.

Sigh anyway still remains a woefully underwhelming show with characters ranging from boring to unlikable, but the hopes of it turning itself around and more importantly the weakness of the entire season overall keeps me watching for now I suppose.

I didnt like 3 as much as 1 and 2 but I did like some parts. Mikasa is HOT, wow even with her hair shorter. I like the guy wiping his "faith in humanity" on the other guys shirt. Armin, sorry you look like a girl

thought it was weird how during the middle of episode 3.
Misaka just starts going on talking to eren, and goes into like a trance monologuing to herself to the point everyone in the dining hall just gets up and leaves lol.

Yay, a sub-forum! About time!

The show continues to be great. Sasha and her food obsession was funny to watch, and I liked how the drill sergeant was grinding the recruits. Can't believe Eren's main issue with the training was caused by a botched belt. Episode 3 was still enjoyable, overall.

I feel that if I were to say anything relating to the story, I will spoil it one way or another. I'm glad that Shingeki No Kyojin is finally getting some attention though.

iv never read the manga it has been on my list for a while but never got around to it. Came across the anime on a whim i watched episode 1 last night and im happy to say i liked what i saw so far.

Personally i would like to see how their gear and tethers work i like the idea behind getting up high and killing the giants in their vulnerable spots neck, eyes and throat. I was surprised by how gruesome it was i liked it and it feels it adds to how dark the series can potentially be. Even the giants faces were disturbing which adds even more to how terrifying they are.

I cant wait for more

I find it funny that some people still misspelling "Mikasa" as "Misaka"

Biri-biri apparently more popular, eh?

The fact that the titans seem to have just come from having a harcut is probably the weirdest part! No hair, or super shaggy hair would be expected, but this...?

I have to wonder if humanity tried any kind of lance tactics (big ones, of course) to bring the titans down to ground level instead of flying around in the air. Concentrated attacks on their ankles would seem to be promising.

I like the rope system/harness system for whatever reason. Not sure how possible it would be in the real world of physics, but it's a cool idea.

The rope plus sword weapon looks really cool but I imagine it won't be really effective where there aren't any building around, like on an open field.

I wonder if the scientist here make this for exclusive use within the wall?

it isn't limited to just a building, Trees and anything literally taller than human can be used

True anything taller than a human could be used as the anchor, However in open fields of course it would be useless. But the system is perfect for this series if you think about the humans circumstances. They would never face the Giants in open battles on field without cover. All the fighting is literally done in forest or within a city where they can take advantage height and strike the vulnerable spots so for their situation it makes a lot of sense.

I would have taken it one step further like Garet Jax stated aim for the joints and the ankles try to get them down on the ground where they can be killed. A rope and chain pulley system would be good, like firing large lances through the Giants ankles and then forcing them to the ground. There are so many different ways to take them down.

Real world application of the current system though i dont know about that. The amount of skill needed would be insane and very complicated without killing yourself trying to use it correctly lol.
