Ppop (Filipino pop music) recommendations?

Can anyone recommend me some good Filipino pop music/artists/bands? Been interested in my own culture's music and I kinda wanna see how good it is compared to kpop haha. The only Filipino artist I listen to right now is Q-York, but he's more of a Fil-Am artist. Youtube fails to provide any good and recent songs (or it just may be that my key words for the search button are bad =/)

The proper term for that would be OPM (Original Pinoy/Pilipino Music) isn't it?

Not that I would know much about my own country's music nowadays, since most of the time all I hear over here are covers and remakes.

I'm picky on OPMs so I'll share you my favorites and they're old ones.

Isn't "Elisi" the tagalog word for a helicopter rotor, which pretty much matches the song's description in context?

Was it told if it was a helicoptor's or plane's or ship's elecy?

Anyway, the song reminds me of Disney's Aladdin's A Whole New World. The concept is similar. That is inviting your girl to a whole new experience....
