Seriously, if Ken Akamatsu does do a sequel or something, I'd expect it to be something similar to the special chapter of Love Hina he did in honor of 300 chapters of Negima (only with said chapter being on J-Comi).

Im not even hyped about sequels, unless its anything that gives negima a propper wrap up im done with this guy :/ chapter was stupid and pointless, if he has nothing more to say he shouldve just ended it last chapter...

Im just super let down, negima was always one of my favorite mangas (top 3 i guess xD) but this ending is just unworthy... And Ill never be able to read these mangas again without thinking "youll never know how it ended" :/

Unless he pulls a miracle in the last chapter I'm done with negima >.<

Worse. I'll never fully enjoy whatever sequel or new series he's making, because however funny or awesome or romantic the story will be, it will always be haunted by the fears that it will "not have a proper ending, just like Negima"

I mean, what's the use being excited about a new story if there's a risk it won't have a proper ending, because that was the fate of its predecessor?

im not gonna buy anymore manga books until it has an ending or 'proper' ending. Negima started off well but ended bad. im gonna hold my ground and wait until a series is completely done than buy it and read it

I am consolidating some of the new info from Ken, basically, Ken is HINTING at a SEQUEL (could be any of his former titles) that COULD be on a J-Comi bi-weekly (once every two week) MAILMAGA (Mail Magazine, or Newsletter) in the FUTURE, the newsletter will be for 105 yen and will cover various topics starting sometime on MARCH.

When it comes to the chapters building up to this final chapter, I'm definitely upset at the way that it's been handled (seriously, the return of Paio II in the second-to-last chapter?). As for the final chapter itself, I'm still at a "wait and see" approach here,

Can't say I'm surprise this series ended. Lost interest in the series around after the Chao Festival future plotline. That's around when the series lost most of it's charm and instead became more of a fighting manga. He didn't concentrate on plotlines that should have been address instead he focus on bunch of other stuff. This ending is also a huge troll to all shippers, no one wins, I guess you can say no one loses either but still a troll ending for everyone. Lame.

Pretty much agree with the complaint. There's a lot more important things that needed to be covered (i.e. the fact that the Lifemaker has taken control of Negi's dad), and rather than doing that, Ken Akamatsu instead reverts back to his Love Hina style of writing.

I really wanted this final chapter to actually salvage the mess that was made in the previous nineteen chapters and provide some closure that I would actually consider decent. Instead,

Well like I said as long as there is a possibility that Negi ended up with Ayna I'm okay with that...

also I spoiled myself and I'm very happy with how some of girls end up well except just one anyway...

A translation of the spoiler image of grown up Yue and Nodoka confirms that they both lost their first love but since no one was chosen I think IMO it's safe to say that all Negix ships have been well and truly sunk.
