Ideas about Eds father and Hormunculus

hello im a new person to the FMA side of this forum. Therefore im not sure about spoiler tags since the [EDIT - Translated] manga is behind the anime. So i put this whole thing in a spoiler, someone tell me if i shouldn't have.

I did a search but found no topics relevant to this thread so i went ahead with it

we know that lust looks like scars sister
we also know that sloth looks like eds/als mother

so am i right in saying that hormunculus take over other peoples bodies ?
could hughes suddenly reapear?

another thing was that in one of the previous episodes envy kicked ed and said "bastards blood".( i think this bit may have already been discussed.)
Anyway i think this means that envy thinks ed is a bastard because his father was with his mother. Envy obviously thinks his father was special and that he shouldnt have gone with eds mother thus taking the anger out on ed. If your still following it seems possible that envy knows eds father and is fond of him. Maybe eds father created the hormunculus???

after all why would the hormunculus go after anyone but the very son of their creator to make them human. they obviously think father and son have similar powers.

anyone agree with me?

Alright, spoilers through episode 25...

There are theories running wild that Hohenheim created the Homunculus, which are pretty likely if you ask me. The Sins do not target Hohenheim because he is eaither dead or the Sins fear and/or hate him -- still, it may not have been Hohenheim because Greed is pretty damn old (he said something like 120 years when he awoke?)

Also, I think that all the Seven Deadly Sins are modeled upon someone upon which human transmutation has been performed. There is one comment that might support this...

Yep, that's why I had in another pointed out (in another form) in this forum that people's speculations are confusing others when they push it as a fact.

Spoiler for Ishvaru War timeline facts:

The war started way way earlier than Ed & Al's transmutation of their mother. Remember that Winry's parents died one or two years before Trisha died and they died during the War (shot by Mustang).

In fact this is one of those 'looming plothole' issue that I'm seeing with the anime's presentation of their story so far. I would love to see how they are going to resolve this.

She seems to be the one who leads all the other sins, kinda making me think she is the most powerful, it isnt much of a stretch to think she can do what envy can do and change her shape. Maybe the woman who investagted the Ishbal War wasnt sloth, maybe it was a real person who's identy was taken over by her.

because Hughes said in ep. 25 that the real Juliet Douglas died 2 years before the Ishbal rebellion so that was definitely Sloth with the identity of Juliet Douglas. (ep. 25 16:12 - 16:16)

An idea that occurred to me ages ago, and I never thought worth mentioning, and I haven't seen anyone else mention is in the spoilers below. Note this is purely speculation, and that it is verry unlikely regardless BUT:

WHAT IF Ed and Al were Homunculuis to begin with - the perfect homunculus - but they just don't know it? where is their father anyway? IF they ARE, was Sloth really "playing the part" of Trisha Elric? to babysit the little Perfects? She would be great at "playing dead" when yhou think about it.

any thoughts on that? it weould be one hellava twist to say the least, though I hope its wrong!

My first impression was that Juliet Douglas was an entirely different person that had already died, like said in episode 25. The humonculus Sloth (who is modeled after Trisha Elric) then snuck in under her identity; taking advantage of the fact that Juliet Douglas was never marked dead on the military's listing.

That would be pretty insane, indeed. The only flaw I can think of is that Sloth would be too lazy to act so well in front of the Elrics for so long. But yeah, that would be a pretty crazy twist!

If Sloth was playing the role of Trisha, how can she both raising Ed/Al in Resembool and climbing ranks in the military in Central at the same time?
