At the special event where they announced the second season, they played the tape of Nijou Noriko and Matsudaira Touko saying "gokigenyou," but they didn't announce who the seiyuus were...

Yeah true July seems pretty soon, not that any of us will complain. ^^

I hope that Marimite can improve its art in the second season.
Anime: The storyline is the main strength of Marimite and the animation is the weakest part of it. The only visible movements from the characters when they are speaking are their lips and eyes. There is also no 'breath-taking' scenary so far, although I understand that it is not a marimite's style. Merchandise: Sadly but true, I can say that the official wallpapers are so far the best marimite art so far. Posters, CD covers, figures etc are not outstanding so far. It makes me worried what Marimite's trading cards would look like when they are released in June. |

All my bookmarks were deleted recently.
 So I've been gone awhile (trying to remember all the places I've been -_-)Now I come back to see this news!! ~weeeeeeeeeeee I had no idea the next season would start so soon!!! I always thought that it took a year to draw an anime season, didn't know they work so fast! I'm so excited to see Noriko and Touko! And I hope Kanako too!!! I'm really interested in her. From all the pictures I've seen of her on the internet, she is REALLY tall! I love tall girls (being a freaky tall girl myself) ^_~ And I'm also interested in hearing about Sei and Kei interactions. |

"Maria-sama ga Miteru DVD Volume 1 On Sale Special Event - 'Yamayurikai ni Nanikagoyou?' " Event report
The audiences' sex ratio was 7 male to 3 female. There were a lot more guys... Started a little bit behind schedule. Enter the seiyuus. But, Itou Miki who plays the role of Sachiko-sama and Ueda Kana who plays the role of Yumi does not appear. A role-playing situation where since Sachiko-sama does not like men, she does not want to appear on stage ^^; Sachiko sama finally appears with Yumi, but Sachiko is still in disdain The rest of the cast persuades her, and Sachiko finally gives in by saying "I'll give it my best." With all the seiyuu casts on stage, they each give a short self-introduction. The event is carried out by the seiyuus who play the third year students - Toyoguchi Memumi, Nabatame Hitomi, and Shinohara Emi. From left to right: Noto Mamiko, Ikezawa Haruna, Ueda Kana, Itou Miki, Itou Shizuka, Nabatame Hitomi, Shinohara Emi, Toyoguchi Megumi Q&A Session Other than the role you are playing right now, who would you like to play? If she ponders about it, Itou Miki would like to play the role of Sei-sama. Noto Mamiko wants to play a strong-willed person like Youko-sama. "Shimako, of course" says Toyoguchi Megumi. Shinohara Emi would like to play the role of either Sei-sama or Rei-sama Itou Shizuka really wants to do Shimako-san Ikezawa Haruna is upset that no one has said Yoshino yet "I want to play Rei-chan so I can drown in Yoshino all the time" - Ikezawa Haruna "But I also would like to do Eriko-sama" - adds Ikezawa Haruna Nabatame Hitomi wants to play Shimako-san The seiyuus in Marimite all seem to do their take on Shimako during their free time Everyone gives an example of their version of Shimako-san. But, Ikezawa Haruna comes in with a punch-line: "I am Noto Mamiko-desu~" Ueda Kana wants to play the role of Rei-sama A bit about your high-school life Out of the seiyuu members, only Noto Mamiko went to an all-girls high school. The overall atmosphere at her all-girls high school was somewhat similar to the dressing room in Marimite - says Noto Mamiko. Nabatame Hitomi, Itou Miki, and Ikezawa Haruna says their were involved in sports activities during high school. Nabatame Hitomi was the center position in the Volleyball team and did tons of blocks Itou Miki was in the Basketball team, but was told to "never to be under the ring" by her team members Ikezawa Haruna was in Equestrian, and she recalls the hardest part was taking care of her horse Ueda Kana was in Public Announcements and was a DJ for her lunch-time broadcast entitled "Lunchtime Square" "Why 'Square?' " pondered Ikezawa Haruna "Because lunchboxes are square" puns Toyoguchi Megumi Where and what kinds of situation would you would like to receive or give your rosarios?" Nabatame Hitomi would like to give it at an ocean. On the other hand, Nabatame Hitomi admires Nagano Prefecture since it isn't surrounded by any sea Shinohara Emi is from Nagano Prefecture Itou Shizuka can't think of a situation...but, she says she will a bit uneasy if it is given to her with such a huge admiration since she'll be distressed on how to approach the matter For today's event, all the seiyuus are have their rosarios in their hands "Outside of school campus and in the evening" says Noto Mamiko Toyoguchi Megumi seems to be favoring asking questions to Noto Mamiko ^^; If the Yamayurikai members all go on a special getaway, where would you want to go? Everyone agrees to: "ONSEN!!" (hot springs) Actually, they seiyuu members do get together occasionally to go to different places. They went to places such as flower gardens, cherry tree viewings, and dim-sum The idea of dim-sum was given by Toyoguchi Megumi If you were to swap your soeur (petit or gran) for a day, who would you choose? Itou Shizuka wants Shimako-san as a petit soeur Toyoguchi Megumi wants Rei-chan as her petit soeur Ikezawa Haruna angrily mutters, "You philanderer~!" Shinohara Emi and Nabatame Hitomi also wants Rei-chan as their petit soeur Itou Miki would want to have Yoshino as her gran soeur. Ikezawa Haruna jumps for joy. Ueda Kana chooses Shimako as her petit soeur Both Itou Shizuka and Ueda Kana would play with Shimako-san all day long Ikezawa Haruna wants to be the gran soeur for Sachiko-sama Noto Mamiko wishes that Yumi-chan was her petit soeur Itou Miki/Ikezawa Haruna and Ueda Kana/Noto Mamiko couples are born! All the Yamayurikai members are very beautiful, what is your secret? "Shimako, answer!" blurts out Toyoguchi Megumi Noto Mamiko counters with "The secret is collagen, everyone." Noto Mamiko then questions "That's collagen, isn't it" to Ikezawa Haruna, who has a bag of jellice. Memorable moments during the aft-reco "Rosa Foetida" was hard to pronounce, said Toyoguchi Megumi and Shinohara Emi All Toyoguchi Megumi remembers of her role was that Sei was always eating snacks Toyoguchi Megumi mistakenly misread Yumi's younger brother's name as "Kirin" x 麒麟 - "Kirin" o 祐麒 - "Yuuki" Aft-reco surprise recording session VTR shows on screen Reporters - Satou Rina (seiyuu for Takeshima Tsutako) and Kaido Yuko (seiyuu for Tsukiyama Minako-sama) Shocking footage of all the on-stage members eating snacks! ^^; The first person to bring snacks to the recording session was...Toyoguchi Megumi Toyoguchi Megumi baby-feeds Noto Mamiko a piece of cake as much as they were real soeurs Toyoguchi Megumi and Noto Mamiko hold hands during the recording session The recording director comes in to the recording session wearing short pants... Recording director quips "They're pretending to be soeurs to get the 'feel' " Noto Mamiko didn't say too much on this VTR Noto Mamiko loves great tasting sweets When Ikezawa Haruna left behind her snacks, Itou Shizuka would take them to give it to her in the next recording session Ueda Kana dropped her snacks when she slipped and fell during the rain Recording director quips again, "Shouldn't we start getting back to work?" Everyone in unison "No!" Itou Miki replies calmly, "The tea will cool down." Group picture, instead of "cheese," they say "soeur!" end of VTR Toyoguchi Megumi remarks "By the looks of the VTR, it seems we aren't doing our jobs..." So... Live Aft-recording session Episode 1 "Sachiko's Soeur Announcement" Noto Mamiko was in getting in the way in setting up the microphones - Ikezawa Haruna reprimands Noto Mamiko "Get out of the way!" ^^; Ueda Kana has trouble setting her microphone and required assistance from the staff members Itou Miki couldn't help but chuckling seeing her petit soeur - "She still needs improvement." Noto Mamiko plays the role of Tsutako-san. But she misses her line a tempo off Episode 1 "Yumi and Sachiko's first meeting" Itou Miki ad-libs "Ufu♥" Episode 7 "Event decided for Valentin'e Day" Ikezawa Haruna ad-libs "Rei-chan no baka" Everyone wanted to play the role of Minako-sama and the aft-reco became chaotic as several members were doing Minako-sama. Shinohara Emi ad-libs "We're finally done" to end the chaos. Toyoguchi Megumi remarks that it became chaotic since everyone was doing Minako-sama's part - but in many ways it was very exciting, so... From here, the seiyuus will change their roles The role is chosen by drawing straws...and became as follows Toyoguchi Megumi.....Sei-sama "I'm still me! That's no fun!" Shinohara Emi....Yoshino-san Nabatame Hitomi....Yumi-chan Itou Shizuka....Eriko-sama Itou Miki....Rei-sama Ueda Kana....Youko-sama Ikezawa Haruna.....Shimako-san Noto Mamiko....Sachiko-sama Episode 4 "Yumi's stomach churns" Noto Mamiko skips Sachiko's lines Nabatame Hitomi plays Yumi-chan beautifully Episode 13 "Yumi and Sachiko's Telephone Conversation" Itou Miki plays the role of Yumi-chan with the attitude of Sachiko-sama ^^; Ueda Kana plays the role of Sachiko-sama with the attitude of Yumi-chan ^^; Itou Miki enjoyed playing Yumi while being Sachiko Ueda Kana had extreme difficulty in playing Sachiko while being Yumi Episode 1 "Yumi and Sachiko's first meeting - in Kansai Dialect" Ueda Kana and Itou Miki play their roles in Kansai dialect Ueda Kana is from the Kansai region so she did it with relative ease Itou Miki ad-libs, and it sounded okay Toyoguchi Megumi sounded like the wife of a Yakuza boss Ueda Kana believes that her gran soeur speaking in Kansai dialect is pretty good But Toyoguchi Megumi quips that she should stay away from ad-libing in English On the other hand, Ikezawa Haruna's English and French are perfect Ending Remarks Noto Mamiko was cute and untethered Itou Miki was a very enjoyable person Itou Shizuka was still under heavy pressure from Yoshino (Ikezawa Haruna) Shinohara Emi was very embarassed that the VTR exposed them ^^; Everyone on stage says "Gokigenyou" The End of Show? But wait, a special announcement is made: "Maria-sama ga Miteru ~Spring~" On Air beginning July 4th, every Sundays from 7:30AM on the TV Tokyo network And the tape of Noriko and Touko saying "Gokigenyou" is played ...but no announcement of who is playing them More info will be released on June 5th's edition of "Margaret" After the announcement, Ueda Kana, Ikezawa Haruna and Noto Mamiko bring a huge bouquet of flowers and gives them to Shinohara Emi, Nabatame Hitomi, and Toyoguchi Megumi respectively (an early requeim to graduation of the third year members of the Yamayurikai). Everyone takes a group picture and once again, they all say "Soeur!" |

The 2nd season of Maria-sama ga Miteru has been confirmed!
Well for all of you lesbian catholic schoolgirl fans of this show your dream has come true. It will start broadcasting in july. The show has been renamed to Maria-sama ga miteru ~ Haru. The interesting part is the Ali Project will do the music for this show. Comments anybody?
