Bayern really punish Barca.
Barca is its usual team but without Messi on-fire.

Kudos to Bayern defensive midfielder and centre back.
They really shut down all Barca through pass and dangerous movement.

Holy shit Bayern.

Barca didn't feel like Barca at all. Well, partially -- they're still very good at passing and possession -- but this Barca lacks teeth, while Bayern is sharp as a knife.

But I'm actually looking forward to what Dortmund can do. Given the bleak future (two+ stars being sold), I'd like to enjoy the phenomenon for a bit longer. Real is heating up, so it's not going to be easy.

Oh wow, this is incredible. This season it seems like Barcelona finally lost their aura of invincibility. Because of the their current status in league, I figure they do well in this year's CL but they seems to be vulnerable every round.

Okay I'm impressed... Dortmund just made Real Madrid look slow. Very impressive performance and what an atmosphere. Not the usual prawn sandwich brigade at CL matches.

Technically speaking Spain hasn't scored a single goal.

That was fun ^_^

Now let's not get cocky and get the job done in the second leg. To be honest, the image of a German final in Wembley is somehow beyond delicious *grin*

Four from Lewandowski is amazing. Honestly, he is the star of the latest crop of Polish attackers who really could deliver some spectacular showings like this in the next decade or so. Looks like an all-German final is almost a done deal, just needs a decent second-leg showing.

This is absolutely insane.

I expected Dortmund to do good (^), but I didn't expect Lewandowski to score four goals against Real.

Can't wait for the Spanish welcome on the second leg. I hope Barca and Real get their acts together and provide a series of matches worthy of football titans.

So Mentar, how are the beer halls in Germany doing? 8)

Unbelievable. Bayern and Dortmund wipe the floor with Barca and Madrid. I kinda expected Bayern to win, but not 4-0. And Dortmund vs Real, damn! Lewandowski, what did you drink before the match?

Well the results were a surprise, but i am even more surprised at how passionate the German fans are.

Only watched EPL, but the atmosphere there seems really dead in comparison, even during high profile games. I heard the Spanish league was even worse

It's true.

It isn't really strange, just compare the ticket prices.

Spoiler for Bundesliga:

Spoiler for EPL:

Day trippers, all-seater stadiums and corporate season ticket holders don't create much of an atmosphere. Most of the local support in the UK has been chased off to the pubs or the lower divisions (4th division football tickets are still more expensive than those of the Bundesliga).

Support in Spain suffers from unreliable and late kick-off times for TV-schedules. Lot of tourists at Barcelona and Madrid as well. In less attractive league games they can make up half the spectators.

Wow, i heard about it but didn't realise such big gap exists....

From my financial situation, if i was a local living nearby those stadium, it will be the differences between "definitely going to watch each match game" in Bungdesliga to "better spend money elsewhere, sopcast should do it" for EPL.

And German has been kicking England's ass in international level too. That should send a clear message on how to manage national football properly

Madrid got quite close when Dortmund decided to have a nervous breakdown in the last ten minutes.
