I hope Zinedine Zidane bags a championship on his last year in football.

And Italy always does this: whenever they get the lead or equalize, and the other team has an advantage, they "get injured" to stop the game then magically, after they get carried off in a strecher, they're fine and go back unhurt. Give me a break.

Wow...can't believe Italy won in a penalty shoot out. And I can't believe Zidane did that headbutt...might have cost them the game too since if he didn't, he would have shot that penalty most likely.

Congratulations to Italy though.

Yeah, congrats to Italy. Was a hard-fought match on both sides.

I dunno, though. It's just that I was kind of hoping for a more decisive victory for either side... not penalties.

Italy is surely a strong team none the less. But I coudn't help myself not to pity Trezeguet. Too much excitment drove him into that situation I think.May be french has destined to be having a bad luck in this match. All two goals hitted the bar.Even though the first one went into the net, I felt quite weird. raphaël really need a big hug from us now.

It doesn't matter who provoked him, he was the one who decided to do an obvious red card offense. I know when you're angry you do things you regret but he should have kept his cool.

I'm more shocked at what Zidan did than Italy winning the world cup. I mean, this is his last game, he must've heard something REALLY bad which made him act like a kid. Shame, shame, shame...

Congratulations to Italy. I hoped France would win and believe that they deserve the cup instead, but what can we do.

Why, Zidane was provoked, and wat he did was understandable, Buffon denied his supposed to be his carrer ending goal in overtime.

Exactly, Mattarazzi should be baneed from International or club competition for ending the great Zidane's career on a red card. He was the one with the bad sportsmanship, not Zidane.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO REFS, burn in hell, go live with Macheal Jackson.

Zidane simply lost it completely. It's so sad to see his career end like that. Even if he was provoked, there was no excuse for him to do that headbutt, the referee had no choice but to send him off.

Congratulations to the Azurri then. Buffon was superb in the whole game, he was a bit nervous during the shootout, and actually didn't even saved Trezeguet's miss, but poor Barthez was just as unlucky. In the end it became a lottery.

looool of course..
If you dont want to understand it's not my problem If you are provocated and you react like that you're simply well.. crazy And you're crazier if you do that on your last match too.. O_o The same goes for "life" in general.. the one who uses violence is always wrong so, take it easy :P If someone tell me "you *****!! Same your mother and your sister! blabla.." i'm not allowed to smash my head on his chest anyway.. :|

And also, it's a game, dont take it so seriously
