I have slow broadband internet (via cable) and its very rare for me to get a download speed of over 6 or 7. Most of the time its slower, and slows down the internet if I try to do anything and use it at the same time.

I've switched to bittornado and the light is on yellow, so I guess I'm stuck behind a firewall, but I have no idea what to do to fix the problem, or even where to go to fix it. I'm using windows millenium home edition. Any suggestions?
