if you havent logged in to msn within a months time, they delete your account. I don't know the last time you did, but this is a very possible explanation.

They don't delete your account or something alike if you don't log for a month.

Anyway, you could create a new password. Go HERE, enter your e-Mail address, then type an incorrect password, then click 'Sign In'. You will then have the option of creating a new password, click it, and good luck.

It should solve your problem.

If you're talking about the pop up blocker built into Internet Explorer, you can find options for it on the Information Bar.

Dont be confused, the Information Bar is the yellowish bar at the bottom.

My hunch is that your father installed an adware popup blocker, which probably provides other forms of ads on your computer. If that is the case post a HijackThis! log and someone will be able to pick it out of the line up.

You can get HijackThis! by right clicking HERE and clicking "Save Target As." Once the program is downloaded, run it and click "Scan" and "Save Log." Post the log in this thread.

Looks pretty good, Im surpised actually. Mighty clean. The only thing I would consider removing is this line, even though it's from your ISP it could be a problem.

Honestly, I've run out of things to suggest, aside from completely uninstalling MSN Messanger and Reinstalling.

To completely uninstall that annoying program you Need to remove it from the computer in two places: the "Add or Remove Programs" dialog box and the "Windows Componant Wizard". You probably already know how to use the former, but the latter can be a little more tricky.

You get to the "Windows Componant Wizard" in the "Add or Remove Programs" dialog box (circled above). Scroll down to Windows Messanger in the dialog box and uncheck its box. Then click next to finish the uninstallation. Restart your computer and then reinstall.

get rid of msn messenger ( or windows messenger ) and get GAIM or Trillian ( useful if you use IRC too ) . that should solve most of the problems you can have. and MSN messenger messes your computer up by its self updating system. But if I recall correctly GAIM doesn't allow file transfer with windows ( I use Linux Debian and it doesn't allow file transfer ).
