How Many Episodes: Comments here!

If you have any comments or questions concerning the How Many Episodes: Answered here! thread, please post them here. I'll update the main thread with new info as I find out about it.

I want to keep this and the main thread separate in an effort to keep the list tidy.

Also note that this information is now included, along with other useful links, with the series information on AnimeSuki (click on any link on the series page). Please help us keep AnimeSuki up to date by posting any additional information you may find.

Couple more updates now that I have the list to look at again:

Shinkon Gattai Godannar/Godanner is supposed to be 26 episodes total - I think that I read on Moon Phase that it's supposed to be 2 consecutive seasons of 13 episodes each. Source here

Also, it looks like you updated Kikou Sen'nyo Rouran with the info for 26 eps and 3 specials, but you missed the 26 on the translated title here:
( ? ) Strange Steel Fairy Rouran (see Kikou Sennyo Rouran), plus 3 Specials

PAPUWA (the new series) will be 53 episodes. Shoboi Calendar

Fullmetal Alchemist is actually only going to be 50 episodes, not 52. The original info was only based on staff's comment that the anime would run for a year, but as this page says, the first DVD will have 2 episodes, while the other 12 will have 4 each, totalling 50 episodes. From Natsume Maya

I think that's all I have for now. ^_^

You have seemed to have misinterpreted the intention of this thread.

It is not for asking how many episodes there are for all known series (if you want to know that sort of information you can use sites such as AnimeNfo). This thread is for recent BT available fansubs, and is to help us maintain the 'number of episodes' information in the AnimeSuki database (as well as this thread).

The anime of Legend of Condor Hero is already listed having 26 eps, but under the name of Condor Hero, Legend of Condor Hero refers to the Live Action.

Is 19 episodes for Gakkou no Kaidan certain? Because the HnK website says it's 20 . . .

Well, a number of fan sites did list it as 19 but I now see that the official web page shows episodes up to 20 available on DVD and video, so it seems more likely. Maybe they added an extra episode for DVD/video release only...

Will edit the lists.

As you know, One Piece isn't liscensed, so the font color needs to be changed to black.

Sometimes AnimeNfo doesn't have the information (Gungrave is a good example because currently AnimeNfo still has it down as unknown). Also in the past a number of entires were incorrect, but the main reason for the thread How Many Episodes: Answered here! was to list the series which have (or had) BT torrents.

Also we have recently included the data (along with other useful links) as part of the series information available on AnimeSuki (click on any link on the Series page).

But AnimeNfo is a helpful site as is AniDB, both are well worth bookmarking. And they are mentioned lots of times in these forums as somewhere to start a search on a particular anime series.

On 'the list" Kaleidostar is listed as having 52 eps., but that the actual # of eps. wasn't known for sure. KS is licensed by ADV and is going to be released this summer. Their site lists it as being a 26 episode series. However, AnimeNfo lists it as being a 39 episode series. So, how many eps. does KS REALLY have?

Well according to this website, http://www3.nhk.or.jp/anime/planetes/, it looks like they are going on to their 14 episode so I doubt the series is going to be 13 episodes long.

Just thought I'll chip in with some info:

The Galaxy Railways is 26 eps total. The DVDs contain 2 episodes each and there will be a total of 13 volumes.

Planates is 26 eps. The DVD release follows Scryed and Infinite Ryvius patterns. 9 volumes total, 2 eps on Vol1, 3 eps each on the remaining 8.

Texhnolyze is actually 22 eps. Ep19 and 20 did not air on FujiTV but are on the DVDs. The aired ep19 and 20 are actually ep21 and 22. FujiTV also did not air ep3 and 4, instead they aired a remix episode of 3 and 4 compressed to 22mins. The only correct episode sequence is on the DVDs and that is 22 episodes.

Nadja will end at 50 eps on the 25th of Jan. So that'll be 50 eps total

Hope that helps!
