Well according to this website, http://www3.nhk.or.jp/anime/planetes/, it looks like they are going on to their 14 episode so I doubt the series is going to be 13 episodes long.

Just thought I'll chip in with some info:

The Galaxy Railways is 26 eps total. The DVDs contain 2 episodes each and there will be a total of 13 volumes.

Planates is 26 eps. The DVD release follows Scryed and Infinite Ryvius patterns. 9 volumes total, 2 eps on Vol1, 3 eps each on the remaining 8.

Texhnolyze is actually 22 eps. Ep19 and 20 did not air on FujiTV but are on the DVDs. The aired ep19 and 20 are actually ep21 and 22. FujiTV also did not air ep3 and 4, instead they aired a remix episode of 3 and 4 compressed to 22mins. The only correct episode sequence is on the DVDs and that is 22 episodes.

Nadja will end at 50 eps on the 25th of Jan. So that'll be 50 eps total

Hope that helps!

I've found out the number of episodes for "Paranoia Agent", 13 episodes. It's in the official page from WOWOW TV channel, here (look at the top right corner -> 全13話 ).

About Chrno Crusade, in March issue of NewType, you can read the schedule for the next episodes and there are more than 13. I couldn't find the total number of episodes, though.

Its still running and its up to 45 now. I think 52 is correct.

In this thread, if you don't give proofs nobody will believe you (something totally understandable ). And because of that, I'll give an evidence about what I said in my previous post. Check this image.
It's in "Upload-it" and I don't know how much it will last, so please watch it soon!
It's an extract from Newtype's march issue. As you can see, here's the schedule for Chrno Crusade's next episodes: from 12 to 15. All the eps will be aired consecutively (you can see the air dates to the right of episode numbers, in month/day format). I don't know japanese (yet) but this is pretty easy to figure out .

I read about this "13 eps" thing in other forums some time ago. I don't know who made up this rumor, but s/he could shut his/her mouth up .

[Edit] Anime News Network updated its list, too

I barely watched Anime-Kraze's Preview of Yuugo and I discovered a couple of things:

1) This anime can be very interesting
2) The official page is http://www.yu-go.jp/
3) Here you can find the total number of episodes.

This is very odd. First, the anime is split in two halves, "1st Negotiation" (with 6 eps) and "2nd Negotiation (with 7). But the most curious thing is that both are done by different staff . I guess the second half will be aired right after the first but, who knows? they could be aired with a delay or even simultaneously!
The only sure thing is that the first episode (of the first half) was aired yesterday, February 24th, while there's no info about airing dates for the second half.

You can find them here @ Animesuki
- Kono Minikuku Mo Utsukushii Sekai 01 [A-E & Keep]
- Midori no Hibi 01 [Anime-Empire]

For "Bakuretsu tenshi" eps to come out you will need some patient.

For Ragnarok the Animation, I think it is best to visit this tread:

So please inform yourself better before posting something, because most of it is already being discussed.

maybe you should inform yourself better before posting something. As the post was asking about episode totals not where to get episodes from.

Gonzo updated its official page with info about its last works. How nice of them.

Samurai7: 26 eps
Bakuretsu Tenshi: 24 eps
Chr(o)no Crusade: 24 eps

Gantz is the only new show with no total number of eps. Why could that be?

Sorry for double-posting, but I just found on Fuji TV's page some info about GANTZ.

Official GANTZ site from Fuji TV.

There's a total of 11 episodes. A curious fact is that the series is called "GANTZ ~the first stage~". I didn't know that since I haven't watched any fansubbed episode yet (In fact, is there any?). That means that there could be more episodes or new seasons. Interesting...
