Well, I think all of those were good deaths. They were emotional, and did what they were supposed to.

The only death I wish didn't happen was Orochimaru. He had so much potential as a future villan!

Nobody. This isnt a love story, its a ninja story. Nobody is exempted from dying. Good guys or bad guys, as long as its not a stupid death, some death are good to push other characters development. Sad, yes. I wheep my tears over Sandaime's and Asuma and manga only (you know who) but their death spurs those characters related to them, so its a good death.

Take a better look at his post. He is pointing out something: Why is there even a thread "Who shouldn't have died" in an anime that involves ninjas?

All of the characters; beside Kimimaro and Hayate, had to be kill off to make the story/plot to move towards Naruto(mostly) and Sasuke becoming stronger.

Hayate shouldn't have die, but I guess it had to be done. I'm wondering what his gf thoughts about being allies with the Sand again.

I guess Konoha needs strong allies aswell and the Sand only has few ninjas, but strong ones. Since Gaara was the first real big enemy of Naruto and another Jinchuuriki, it makes sense that there's a bond between them aswell and Gaara being Kazekage makes an even better ally to Naruto, who wants to become Hokege, now.

Sadly, the character development we got to see from her was that she was becoming a snitch to the elder counsel. Prior to her death, though, she was proving to be useful in help finding out Pain's secret.

She was a snitch? I thought she was loyal to tsunade....
I have to agree about her death, though. She died before we really got to care enough about her. It wasn't an emotional death.
