When creating a torrent with Azureus, it asks how many pieces and the size of the pieces.

Does anyone know what is the optimal size / number of pieces?

Also, What exactly does "Add hashes for other networks" does?
Does it add information in the .torrent file?
Do I need to share the .torrent or the actual file in the directory?

You're pretty safe just going with the default values that Azureus gives you. It works really well for creating torrents.

Don't worry about "Add hashes for other networks". If you don't know what it does, then you really don't have any need for it.

But I want to know what it does, I have eMule (eDonkey network) and I want to use the added funtionality it could have.
