port !!!

can someone teach me how to make a port pls......i have xist www.portforward.com but i still cant understand how to make a port....so pls help me...................

I also have a D-link so your config method will probably be the same as mines, monst likely.


That is, go into IE and type "192.168.0.1" into browser. When a prompt comes up, type in "admin" for name and nothing for the password.

That should take you to the router's web-based config. Everything else is pretty explanatory from there (if you want to forward ports, the "Virtual Server" menu under the Advanced section is the one you want)


Then again, the config menu for your router may be different from mines.
