Umm... Isn't A-Keep subbing the first season, not the second? This episode happens to be listed under season 1: http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/313.html

Yup, it's definitely for Season 1....not season 2, unfortunately. I jumped the gun last night as well...

Just why is A-Keep going back and subbing the first season anyway? I always thought they dropped the project. Surely with the new season coming up, they'd have other more pressing projects to worry about?

It's because of the love and the fact that I guess they have a "leave no series behind policy" since Marimite has yet to be licenced.

Oh well.. reguarding our S2 episode 8.. I finally started kicking ^PaNdA around about it... She and the Kisara aka Hikata just moved to their dorms a couple weeks ago and are getting their butts kicked by school... hence the slow down.

Status:

8=QC
9=TS/QC
10=TS/QC
11=TL
12-TL

Uhh so I guess episode 8 will be out in some timely fashion... but I'm not making any promises since a good portion of our staff have more pressing matters to take care of... I won't let my GPA drop just for some fansubbing... screw that ^^;

Thx for the patience... maybe some uber l33t speed sub group will come and own us.

Take your time. The quality you put into your work overly compensates for the time you take, so don't worry too much

Since you've all seen up to episode 12 by now, does it look like this is going to be a 13 or 26 episode season? I'm going to be sad if it cuts off at 13, but I wonder if there's really enough material for 26 episodes.

And great job Ayu, your fansubs are definitely worth the wait

The second season will end at episode 13, "Parasol o Sashite." It makes sense because this is a turning point to show Yumi starting to blossom as the Rosa Chinensis en bouton.

Word that is out amongst fans is that perhaps another season ("Maria-sama ga Miteru ~Natsu~"?) is in the works since there are more novels after this arc anyway.

If they keep making 13-episode midseason replacement series, and air them on the 3 months on/3 months off schedule they've been using so far, there would probably be enough material for a fourth season before they would have to break the pattern. I guess that could be ~Natsu~ and ~Aki~, or they might get some different titles.

Perhaps they will release a "Maria-sama ga miteru ~Summer~ special" OVA.
And hopefully not a beach episode.

hehe i did the same. i was so happy there's a new release so i left my computer on all night to d/l but when i open the file it was of season one err i was so mad.

So are the novels going to follow Yumis story when she becomes Rosa Chinensis and all the way to her graduation? That would suggest at least a couple of more seasons.

And I wouldn't mind if they make beach episode.

But *sigh* that will never happen, this isn't that kind of series...
