I have an episode which contains AAC audio. I have downloaded the AAC Core Filter v1.0 and it claims installation is successful. However, there is still no audio track when I play the file. I am sure I have played files with AAC audio before. Can anyone explain why I cannot hear audio???

P.S. I cannot find the installed files but the installation wizard claims the filter has been successfully installed.

Before the mods say anything I believe you got a licensed anime there. So i doubt anyone will help you.

Some groups are releasing DVD rips such as Initial-D 4th season by AONE
and they have 5.1 audio so some users are seeing this problem.

Solution:
Get AC3 Filter (http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net)
- open the control panel/ac3 filter

Output 3/2+SW 5.1 channel (if you do have 5.1 speakers)
otherwise
2/0 stereo

Click on Options
- Uncheck auto gain
- uncheck normalize matrix

they help people based on the how to play the files... i mean where u get it is your own deal.. as long as you dont advertise where u got it... or that ur willing to share it... if its your own personal thing i dont think the admins will mind.. i mean they are happy to help a fellow anime person to watch some anime i think ^_^

I guess i misunderstood their interests. I remember a few months ago I think xris cracked down on someone who didnt advertise it. Oh well. Sorry Greed.
