Everybody who hasn't read the manga really should! The anime so far has been a good adaptation, seeing the reactions animated has been superbly fun. However if you want something that will keep you on edge (IMO), go grab that manga. ^^

Ack, double post. I shall fill it with something useful. Apparently the anime will run a total of 42 episodes. I read about it somewhere... just not sure where.

I think it's great that they've already set out a specific amount of episodes, that way it minimizes the risk of seeing any filler, especially since there's already enough material for 42 eps. (I had heard 46, but it doesn't matter.) After that they can either go with OAVs or a second season, all while the quality remains. I for one prefer quality over constant weekly releases.

Or just make a weekly series without any fillers

Asuki - from what series is that avatar of yours?

Well sooner or later that becomes impossible.

I wouldn't mind a few episodes of the Takitate Gohan!/LotR parodies though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Isen-Man = 10 million and not 1 million as the sub puts it?

I thought:

1,000 = Sen
10,000 = Ichi Man
100,000 = Juu Man
1,000,000 = Hyaku Man
10,000,000 = Sen Man/Isen Man

If someone could compare it'd be great.

I was really glad I have given this show a chance. At first I heard a show about making bread. That has to be lame, but after the first few episodes I was totally hooked. This show is awesome. A nice change up from Naruto. (Which I watch like its my job.)

To the best of my knowledge, you're correct.

Skinny? Well, that pose may look a bit skinny, but in other scenes, she is "drool-a-licious"

Ya, that one hour special was great. Especially the pun with Conan.

It seems every story you hear, Kirasaki is always nice to people, helping them out, like how he helped out the King of Monaco. Now, look at him, he acts like such an asshole. There has to be a reason for this switch, as well as he treated his kids.

He must need to take over their store very badly.

Kirasaki was also very nice to Azuma when he was little. Okay, I am just assuming that the faceless Kirasaki is the same person as the bearded baker that taught Azuma about bread back in the first episode, but I'm pretty sure that they are the same.

Perhaps he is just easily misunderstood. Like the lesson about bread that he provided to his children by eating it in front of them when they were starving. They didn't understand what he was really trying to say to them, but he really wasn't being as mean as it seemed at the time. Maybe he is just so focused on bread that he forgets about people's feelings and accidently tramples their hearts and lives.

Well, duh. It has to be, don't forget that the shop where Azuma first met Kirsaki was St. Pierre...

It's pretty much implied throughout that Kirisaki is the man who inspired Azuma to make Ja-Pans. Kirisaki is like the Darth Vader of the series, but please no "Azuma, I'm your father" crap, cause that would make Azuma, Sophie and Meister Kirisaki siblings, lol.

It's really fun to see a Conan cameo in the series, a pity they didn't get Minami Emi (who did the real Conan) to do the voice for the fake Conan.

And how do you know he's *not* related? We never met his Dad right?
