BRS nendo and figma pre-orders should be out
nendo figma I'm grabbing both, the figma is pretty damn high quality for the price (and not so blatantly stripperific as the blade ver) while the nendo is just (...) LOOK AT IT!

I was expecting better, something more creative - and not just for the base ![]() So I'll pass on the nendo but pre-ordered the figma

I think Goodsmile is really on an insane roll, I can imagine myself going bankrupt because of them in the future lol
Just this week I've already ordered these: BlazBlue Continuum - PS3 Game + Petit Nendoroid Puchi Nendoroid - Quiz Magical Academy (Limited Edition) Puchi Nendoroid - Touhou Project set #1 (Limited Edition) Nendoroid Racing Miku (7,000 yen course) Nendoroid Black Rock Shooter Then this week I just heard they've announced these: Nendoroid Saber Full Action version (new type of Nendoroid that's posable like Figma) Queen's Blade Nendoroids Lucky Star Street Fighter IV Nendoroids I've already stopped collecting anything besides Goodsmile and MaxFactory figures. If this goes on, I'll probably collect only Nendoroids and Figmas. If I don't go bankrupt in the future, I may open a gallery of my Nendoroid and Figma collection lol

http://wcloudxkumo.wordpress.com/201...miku-previews/ As much as I love Miku, I think she's getting milked way too much. You can't even go into a figurine store without tripping over 30 different Miku figures anymore. |

Despite that, I do like that she's getting some decent figures, because I like to own them.

Actually there isn't really that much Miku figures yet, nowhere near what Ikkitousen, Haruhi, Fate/Stay Night and Nanoha has generated and certainly far from Evangelion's.
Miku has only around 10 figures that you buy in regular shops, another 10 - 15 more that are exclusive and limited figures. I've stopped collecting Haruhi figures for a year or 2, but I've already got like 50 individual Haruhis, 30 Yukis and 30 Mikurus.

I think Miku's got a cute character design and the fanart and the figures that's spawned are quite nice.
I do wish companies would move on though. Make me more Horos! Alter needs to make a Horo, and Max Factory. Then I think I'll be good. Cospa, Taki, GSC, Kotobukiya and Volks have all done one, need some from the other companies.

A buddy of mine suggested we split buying this stuff among others and take what we want. The potential in-fighting makes this prospect a little silly. |

Maybe it just feels as if countless Miku figures have been released as of late. Since in the span of just a little more than a year, we've been bombarded by 20+ Miku figurine releases in rapid succession. Ah well, time to just enjoy the ride I guess.

Take me for example, as a "figure collector" I only buy her in her official/original dress and not interested in collecting anything else of her
