If the mass-produced version will look like this too I might have to pick it up.
I ordered her. She's gorgeous for the price. Just hope she looks as good (or even nearly as good) as that proto.

How are there too many guy figurines? Go back a few pages and do the count before you say things like that.

You just dont like looking at guys, but guess what, there are female anime fans too.

To compensae the manliness of the previous figurines, this one is cute:

I'm a female anime fan, and I don't like looking at guys. Though I was very tempted by Alter's Natsume, and if GSC made a Rider (Fate/Zero) to go with their Saber and Rin, I'd be all over that.

My entire collection as it stands, however, is all female. Because they're pretty. I like looking at them, and I can't say the same for pretty much all male figures released to date.

Anyway, enough of that; one of my newest figures, and my favourite of the six I just received...

Griffon usually ends up screwing something up with their figures, but I think Hina has come out wonderfully. Nazrin did, too (not quite as elegant and gorgeous as Hina, though). I just can't get a good read on Griffon, they improve a lot and do some really great figures, then they drop the ball and release terrible ones, then go release some nice ones again. Same sculptors and stuff, so it makes no sense.

I'm a male anime fan but at times I do appreciate some more of the heroes of shows being released

The problem is that most of the guys figurines doesn't seem to have the level of quality of the female ones. I wanted a Raoh or a Kenshiro figurine, but most of the releases are meh. So far, I have been very picky regarding guys, so their quality and GAR counterweight the number of female figurines I have. Right now, it is Saito Hajime. And I shall wait for the release of Shizuo that I have posted earlier.

I have the Alter Natsume. He's my most expensive figure and I adore him to pieces.

Anyways I like both male and female figures (I have favorite characters in both groups) but I do wish there were more male figures out there.

It has gotten a little better. The Megahouse GEM line is great for male figures (well so far I only got Edward Elric but he is a great figure).

edit: I also ordered this cute Kotetsu
. I think it's Bandai's copy of the nendoroid.

GEM is really good for anyone who wants guys.

I mean, seriously guys, look at that Makoto Shishio:

Agree, agree... I always feel like a display is incomplete for some series.

I have a Taiga but no Ryūji (Toradora!)

I have a Holo but no Lawrence (Spice&Wolf)

I have a Hazuki but no Kouhei (Moon Phase)

... and others.

I'd just like to have couples that I enjoyed watching their romance together on the shelf. Yeah, the sales don't justify it.... but it isn't clear it was even tried much. I have better luck with gashapon (Soul Eater, etc) in terms of "the guys".

Wait wait wait.....0_0 is this seriously true!? Oh my god.....I can die happy....almost 7 years later...hell yes.

I really do wish they would make for male figures. I too am female, and want some of my favorite males turned into figures. I do own a few that exist of my favourites There is a huge market for male figures that companies really should be banking on rather than just trading figures!

That said I do have a fair amount of female characters and vintage MLP
