Also for figures that have already sold out everywhere (or Prize figures) I have recently become a fan of Mandarake. Of course it's all luck whether you get it, but prices are way better than EBAY.

I am giving both a try, lets see how the two compare. Figma Sengoku Nadeko and Hatsune Miku from AmiAmi. Figma Senjougahara Hitagi and Asuka Langley from Mandarake. Most of the time the drawback for ordering from Japan is shipping. For comparison; I bought my Soul of Chogokin GX-46 and GX-60, they are heavy, and shipping on GX-60 was already at $35 USPS first class (Texas-East Coast ). >_< Thank God the heavier GX-46 shipping was free courtesy of Amazon. Cheers! |

I do all my ordering from HLJ and never have a problem, I would pick SAL to save money on shipping at the very most it took 1 extra week vs EMS and was half the cost in fact some orders arrived with in the same time frame.
Only downside to HLJ and other sites based in Japan their prices are based on the daily changing exchange rates which are adding up to 20-30 percent more on the cost since the USD is not as strong their as it use to be. |

For shipping I tend to go for SAL registered. In terms of cost it's inbetween EMS & regular SAL but you still get some tracking & insurance.
Although I hate the whole signing aspect of registered mail, I tend to be too nervous to ship by regular SAL with no tracking info. As for cost well the exchange rate sucks right now but from what I've seen American retailers charge more money anyways because well they are also ordering the item from Japan. So if you order from the US your shipping might be less but the item cost is usually more (especially since an item can be heavily discounted on Japanese sites)

Possible GSC re-releases
![]() Spoiler for Image:
I hope this is just a joke or completely unrelated to the previous survey Out of these figures only TE Saber has some Value and it certainly is mush easier to re-release this one than to make a brand-new version based on Fate/Zero

Mikatan has announced the result of the re-release poll and what will be the first re-release.
As far as I can understand the nendo choices, I really think the figma ones are poor: sure, Madoka franchise still has a bit of its popularity momentum, but why Sayaka and Kyouko? They are quite recent, especially Kyouko, while the poll results sure point few justified choices there (oh well, I don't buy figma, but I can see why some people might fume because of this). As for scale... well, color me not surprised to the slightest, although I -really- hope GSC won't focus only on Fate franchise (be it scale, nendo or figma), because they are saturating the market and choices way too much already.
