This is the one I want to get. Super sexy ^_^. But artbooks come before PVCs.

Miraroma - 1/7 Tsukimiya Kaede PVC Figure (personally I hate anything PVC bigger than 1/8 scale, but this one is just too good to pass)

ps: My artbook will never get to me. 5 months of waiting for that backorder to finally be fulfilled . I sorta wish there would be a good PVC of Setsuna from Kyoshiro
That is so HAWT

Man I need to start my own collection, stupid parents wont let me buy any ><

They're doing you a load of good, you know. Once you start, you can't just settle with one figurine. And they're so expensive... @_@;

I have quite a few tiny figures, five galaxy angels, Chii, Dejiko, Asakura, Alice from ARIA... I know I'm forgetting a few. I prefer to collect smaller figurines as opposed to the larger ones; the only large figurine I have is of Etna from Disgaea, though I'm thinking about getting a Flonne as well. I'm incredibly tempted to get the ARIA figurines...

Ah yes. I managed to get that a few weeks ago as well. It's amazing to me what some of the shops in bigger cities can have. It was a bit more than I typically spend on figures, but I'd say it was worth it.

One of the 'best' figs in my collection
Damned glad I got it back when the mass produced was just out
so much more than a statue, the bikes details give it even more 'extra'

I drop the order and after looking at some of the review picks. i think I made the right choice. The figure itself looks fine by the production quality is a disappointment.

I dunno, it didn't seem to give me any trouble. Maybe it just didn't seem that way because of the greater annoyances I've had with other assembly-required things in the past. Who knows anymore - I have the memory of a goldfish.

New(ish):
Petoko and Chochomaru
I wasn't sure I would actually find a Petopeto-san figure, but there it is, though I was hoping to find a Sahara Kuguru figure too. The little Komeri figure has a magnet so it can stick to Petoko. Oddly though, it also seems to stick to Chochomaru. Hmm... I'd also love to get the gashapon, but sadly it seems to have been discontinued.

Also got Alter Saber revoltech (original Saber is on its way), Elis Housen, and Tear Grants.

This is starting to become a damn expensive hobby (addiction). @_@

I really liked that one, but the price tag is a bit too high for me. Mahoro is my favorite character of all time. SOooooo cute ^_^.

I thought that one looked pretty good when I first saw it a couple weeks ago. But this was a pass for me. Artbooks come first

I love to look at the Anime Figurines but I dont think I could ever buy any...just like I could never buy an art book. I dont know why....it could be a combonation of many things...
1. being that im not made of money right now
2. no place to put them
3. I am a very mix it up guy usualy and cant stand to have the same decoration for very long so thats why I rarly get poster ans the Anime Figurines would be just the same cool for a time but then I would be able to picture it im my head and it would be no fun any more so they would go away.
4. I sadly collect warhammer 40k and that is a killer to keep up with with my money and my 40k stuff would look a bit odd next to cute Anime Figurines
5. the one thinng I realy spend money on is books. (manga included) but books hold the depest part of my heart and Anime Figurines seam silly in comparison.

now that was just me rambiling and I in no way say that collecting Anime Figurines is silly...I just need a biger budget and a shelf for only them (>.<)

I've only recently become interested in them, but yeah, they do cost a pretty penny. Do they charge so much just because they can? Surely some plastic (although very nice plastic) can't cost so much. Limited production runs too, I guess. Ah well. A few won't hurt, right?!

Does anyone know anything about the possible toxicity/lead content of figures? In light of another Chinese toy recall based on such fears, I was curious if the same might be true for the stuff we see at hobby shops. I assume most, if not all, of it comes from China. And of course, PVC has a whole bunch of chemicals in it to start. I've also read somewhere that high temperatures can cause them to start emitting fumes?

I'll have to take a look if I can find something. I remember seeing that figure at the last Winter Wonder Festival, but don't remember if it was a dealer's booth or a company's. Nice that it's out, though; I'll have to pick it up soon.

Here is something that I picked up earlier from a store. It was rather expensive - being an exclusive from one of these shows - but I thought that it was worth the price since it was just a nice figure.

If Atalier Sai puts out a completed polystone figure of their recent Mia Campbell (Beach Concert) model, I'll be even happier.

Edit: Eh, I didn't realize that it would show up as that big of an image. I'll need to resize it later at home...
