Good stores, terrible terrible prices on shipping unless you live in Asia. Which kinda sucks, as all the U.S. based stores get their items several months later than those stores.

There's only two I'm after:

- A good C.C. (Code Geass) figure
- A good Arcueid (Shingetsutan Tsukihime) figure

If I could get good figures of them, that might round off the collection for quite a while.

Only problem is, 2 years on, I still can't find a single one of either of them that measures up. -_-

US based stores often have bad customer service, HLJ has really good shipping price. And if u look at any local stores their price is a little more than ordering from websites. also depends on the item, if u order Figma, it will be cheap. if u order big ass PVC that takes a lot dimension space, then u will pay more

Ya, a lot of things end up having to be taken into consideration while attempting to figure out the final price of a certain item. Tax, shipping/size, time, customer service and a bunch of other stuff. People who don't live in California have it lucky, pretty much every major retailer has a warehouse in this state which means tax.

I'm actually getting stuff off eBay for the time being. 30% cashback FTW

Does anyone know how to clean an old polystone figure that has not been taken care of well? I bought a "Haman Khan 14 Yrs Old" figure by B-Club knowing that it was kept outside of its box, and would like to try and restore it as best as possible. It's not recommended to clean polystone with water, it seems, so should an oil-based cleaner be used instead?

HAH... I wouldn't even begin to know how to clean polystone. I've never picked up one of those prepainted cold cast polystone figures. But I'm curious as to what the condition is? It is dust stuck to it? It is some sort of goop on there? I would have guessed that a can of duster gas should be sufficient in cleaning the thing.

For an oil based product, maybe napatha based lighter fluid, I'd recommend testing this on an hidden area to see if there are any adverse affects.

But I cannot imagine what kind of condition it could possibly be in if it was just left out. Dust is the only enemy I can think of.

Cheers for the help, GameraBaenre and Astrana. It looks like he took it out of the box, left the figure outside, and it got exposed to smoke or something. Maybe the original owner was smoking around it?

Let me try and find some lighter fluid, and see if that helps. Worst case... I can try and strip the paint, and redo it myself. I would be ashamed to palm this off on someone else as is.

HOORAY! I'm finally done with her! After months of delays, set backs, loss of motivation, etc, she's done. Here are some quick all around pictures.

The best CC figure on the market is probably the AlphaOmega one... Actually, I don't think there are that many CC figures to choose from to begin with. Max Factory, Kotobukiya and all those good ones never got their hands on Code Geass figures. That said, I think if that CC didn't catch your eye, then I don't think any other available on the market would.

Since Kanu is now done, and I'm still on a figure kick so I figured the Asagi kit would be a quick and dirty build. I got through the initial sanding session, initial primer coat, fine tune sanding and surface fixes, then final primer. Below is a picture taken after the first coat of primer was sprayed.

I pretty much finished her last night, but it was too late to take final pictures. I may still have a few touch up areas to fix tonight, but if all goes well, I should be able to take some final pictures tonight... but for now, a little teaser...
