the new ps2
what do you all think of the new ps2? personally I think that because they made so much money off of the ps one they wanted to do the same thing gamespot has a great review (sorry dont have time to get the link
) also does any one know its pros and cons?

Nothing has improved, gameplay/graphic/anything wise. The only thing that changed was that they included a network adapter or something? (not 100% sure though...too lazy to check
)It's like what sony did to the playstation, they made the PSone. Bigass con: I think it'll break when I touch it...

It's 75% smaller than the regular PS2. They built in the network adaptor, and removed the internal space for the HDD. It's rumored the USB ports are now USB2.0, but this is unconfirmed.
Other than that, there's nothing new. If you've got a PS2 there's no need to get this. If you don't, this is the one you'd consider getting. |

Again, there's only -one- game that requires the HDD outside of Japan and that's FFXI.
There are many more in Japan, so I imagine that if Sony is smart and the rumor is true, you might see sony-branded USB2.0 HDDs eventually. And if having an internal one is really that important, you can always buy one used. |
