Now that I think about it, MG Exia had some weak joints that made the legs flop around. I hope this isn't the case with 00-Q, but I'm not holding my breath. Hurray for Action Bases.

Where does it say that the 00 Qan[T] will have parts in common with the MG Exia anyhow? From what I see on the initial images, the 00 Qan[T] looks to have a lot of new parts, especially the arms and legs, which have articulation beyond what the MG Exia frame can provide.

Given all the differences the Exia has with the 00 Qan[T], it's more likely that they based it off the MG 00-Raiser that Bandai themselves have mentioned to have been in development earlier. Given that the 00 Qan[T] and 00 Raiser have a lot more similarities than the 00 Qan[T] has with the Exia, I'm more of the opinion that they simply switched development to the 00 Qan[T] because of its shared from with the 00 Raiser, which means they could release it fast, rather than the Exia.

Judging by the HG kits, Exia is hardly even related to the 00/00Q, while the other two have some substantial commonality or at least parts compatibility. 00Q uses the same legs and arms as the 00 more or less, with only some minor exterior differences. You'd have to look hard to spot the difference if you swapped the arms and legs between the two...

In contrast, about the only things you could swap between the Exia and 00 are the hands, feet and head, since those use the same type of joints in the same place.

How well this translates into MG-scale remains to be seen, but I'm not confident that there'll be much resemblance between the two internally...

At least, the MG OOQ has more in common with the MG Exia than with any MG OO. For one thing, you can do without the hole in the chest with the MG OO.

What I will not discount is the thought that the MG OOQ will be the link between the MG Exia and the MG OO-R. The OOQ Shield will act as an experimentation for support of the Raiser Wings upon the Shoulder and the strengthen arms for the extended Raiser Sword.

They should of called that thing a GN Buster Sword IV, instead of just GN Sword.

Thats neat, I can take the Missle Pods from Exia Type F and give them to Kyrios. Now i can take Harutes Missle Pod and Give it to Kyrios. Allelujah's Gundams are the best.
Spoiler for :

Spoiler for :
I think you mean Astraea Type F, and I don't think Harute's missile pod is compatible with the Kyrios; its of a smaller design than what Kyrios' optional missile pod containers were.

Well as the image shows it is compatible. I think you meant that the two missile containers are not of the same design perhaps

Oh, I see. I mistook the image to be of the Harute still, not the Kyrios.

Allelujah's Gundams are indeed the best, but I don't think the missile container looks very good on Kyrios.

That reminds me: is the HG 1/100 Exia Avalanche equipment compatible w/ MG 1/100 Exia?

Mmmmm, no I don't think it's gonna happen.

If Bandai was remotely interested in releasing addition content for these kits, the PG 00 Gundam might of gotten the Seven Sword equipment by now.

00R can barely support its side binders... I'd like to see its drives hold a GN Buster Sword.

You're telling me that a PG can't hold its equipment properly?

Well it's not like the kit has carbon steel joints.

True, but couldn't the designer's tighten the joints or something?
