Remeber, this tread isnt about power its about who is the coolest character. I will admit Kakachi is very close second to Itachi , but i dont like how perverted jiraiya is, i do like him as a character, but he just doesnt match up to the coolness of ITACHI UCHIHA.

-I wasn't trying to imply power. Rather I was trying to say that if Itachi (who is one of the coolest characters in the series) refers to the two I mentioned with praise and caution then shouldn't that warrant a degree of coolness in it's own right?

Um...I'd say that Gaara has some cool factor going on...anyone whose entire fighting style consists of standing around with your arms crossed looking badass gets some cool points.

Kimimaro also deserves a mention...if only because absolutely nothing phases him...even having someone drop an entire desert on him.

Zabuza was only mildly cool, until he skyrocketed to a higher level by killing a bunch of dudes with his mouth.

Rock Lee also gets an honorable mention for showing up to a battle with a squirrel on his shoulder...that and his drunken boxing.

Hah, how true. 90% of Gaara's time is spent standing there with his arms crossed looking cool.

I would have to give a close second to two other Konoho ninja. One being Kakashi for obvious reasons. But mostly because half of his victories of Gai come from his shear coolness. The other Konoho ninja that I give cool credit to is surprisingly enough Shikaku Nara(Shikamaru's dad). In two of the appearances he's had in the anime(that I can recall) he's been drunk in one and in the other appearance he killed the attacking ninjas while simply leaning(very cool-like) against a wall.

I want to mention Sasuke because even with as much as I dislike him after he left Konoha he still has quite a few cool moments and he does the cool guy routine pretty well some times.

There are other like Rock Lee, Zabuza, etc. but I just wanted to throw out my reasons for a few others.
