shouldnt the name of bogey one be changed to bandit one?
ok the naming designation for the legged ship from the EA clearly follows what American Fighter pilots use. and because it was clearly defined Hostile (they were attacked by it) it should therefore be a bandit because a bogey is an unknown, you know its there but you dont know if it is friendly or hostile, while a bandit is an object that is clearly defined as hostile.
and while im at it the control system for gundams seems so impossible. Rudder pedals and some throttle sticks are barely enough to control a plane let alone a multi joint bipedal suit that has boosters and guns,

Your in-correct about the new types of Gundam Operating systems,
They have a keyboard, and they type super fast You can control factory power, fans, lights, serurity, and other random things from one keyboard. You honestly think it would be hard to use an OS if you can type like 300 words per second and if your trained you know the exact comamnds, hell you could bind. lrl10 (left right leg 10 percent power/ boosters lrl0 (left right leg 0 percent power/ boosters) laa30p (left arm attack 30% pressure) , Now with swords, or weapons like epyons whip not that epyon is in GSD, it would be more difficult, but then again you could have pre-typed attacks, like whip left 20% power. You have to type fast and thus need training, have a OS that makes up for errors with a CS(Common Sense Drives actually exisit today) drive that will make up for human error, but then again if your a coordinator whats it matter no human error ![]() Anyways, No controlling a Gundam would be as simple as people who are typing HTMl code, Don't forget that jets still rely on non-digital equipment A LOT. You would be surpized how much, Gundam are ALL digital interfaces. accept maybe the door opener

have you ever used an hotas control? if you have you would agree with me. rudders and hotas is barely enough to control a plane let alone a multi joint bipedal suit. the controls in jet are NOT mechanical. it would be impossiulbe for anyone to control a jet with mechanical controls taking a turn with 5 g's everything in a jet today is fly by wire meaning that the controls are hooked up to an computer. How do you contol over 20 joints with just 3 human control interfaces hmm? you woud have to have to have a pre set number of moves. and i dont understand where you got this typing thing i didnt mention anything about typing in my first post. I understand that gundams is set in the future and all that jazz but regaurdless you cant control over 20 joints with just three types of controls unless you have some pre set movements that are set to the controls.

MObile suits do use automated functions. In SEED that is what the OS is for. The OS can be reprogrammed and updated to reflect a number of preset moves. When Lowe Gear gets the Gerbera Straight, his associate, Liam, watches Lowe use a katana and then he programs those moves into Red Frame's OS so that red Frame can use Gerbera Straight in near human style.
Kira reprograms Strike's OS in the desert to take into account pressure differences in the sand. Kira is seen on numerous occainsons working on Strike's OS. It obviously works to function the suit, so the modifications we see him making after Phase 2 are presumably refinements to Strike's automated movements. |
