Billy Wagner did this. He was a natural right hander and after breaking his arm twice he taught himself to throw left handed. Became a pretty damn good one too. So yeah it is possible.

Especially if you start at a very young age.

Besides, with Goro, "realistic" has to be taken in context.

A quick note on 120 - I have to give the series props for the level of detail. I used to live in San Diego where "Detco" Park is located, and the area nearby is known as the Gaslamp District. They managed a perfect mock-up of it in the anime, which is impressive as it's not nearly so well-known as the fancy sights in SF that they used in the first season.

Oh, and Joe Gibson Sr. is GAR.

Some questions for the manga readers.

What volumes of the manga do each season of the anime correspond?
And the movie, from which volume was the story?

I was under the impression that the movie was an original story.

It was - there is a manga adaptation (I bought it at Toranoana, LOL) but the movie came first.

I'm re-watching season one for the first time in years (still as great as ever) and I realized I'd missed something before - a Shimizu Taiga sighting in episode 22. "Sis, is baseball fun?" Nice little bit of foreshadowing there.

Reminded me to watch season 1 again. I notice the Taiga part too ^^.

I don't remember exactly, but I think each of the first three seasons cover about 15 or so volumes of the manga and season 4 and 5 each cover less than that (I think it's less than 10 for each).

I think the movie is an original story that isn't an adaptation of any of the manga chapters.

Fansubs are not all out yet and most of us have not seen all of S5. Spoiler tags would be much appreciated.

I would be sort of shocked if there wasn't. I mean, the little post credits thing with Goro and the others after the last episode is the typical "teaser preview" they've done ever since the end of season 3.
