I was expecting the same exact thing. I though Shana was over 100-200 years old, but I guess I was wrong in assuming that. Glad that these flashback episodes are answering questions that I have.

I love how Tenmoku Ikko got the cool samurai thing going, can't wait to see him fighting next episode with the Nietono no Shana. Taking a guess here, but I think that Tenmoku Ikko has Reiji Maigo inside him. Just a hunch though.

If Tenmoku Ikko were to have had the Reiji Maigo inside him, then it would have to be very coincidental that upon his fall, the Reiji Maigo transferred over to Yuuji while the Nietono no Shana transferred over to Shana.

Sounds almost like a twist of fate to me.

Hmm...If Shiro is what he is said to be, I wonder how he got up to the Tendou-kyu in the first place. So many unanswered questions again...But a good episode nonetheless.

Tenmoku Ikko looks to have combat abilities as well...Unlike Yuji. It will be interesting to see how he fares against Orogon, since he was seen approaching the Legion in the preview.

Nice! The style of dressing somehow suits the city background. I like the fonts you used as well for the words. Of course, the main important thing is that Shana is the focus of the wallpaper...

Shakugan no SHANA (灼眼のシャナ) is a novel thats published under the seinen(young men's) label Dengeki Bunko.
For now there are 13 volumes released of this novel (volumes 1-12 and volume 0 which was released after volume 9), here are the covers:

However, Shana 15 was win....I loved this episode, and really can't wait for the subs....luckily all that bondage consoled me from the fact the the new ED is kinda plain...the old one was ten thousand times better -_-
