It'll be moved when the mods think it's ready to be moved.

Just a random thought: is anyone else tired of someone asking this same question every page or two in each topic?

I mean, as long as it's in "Anime Discussion", what does it matter which section it's in? It's not like it really takes any extra effort to scroll down a little more to get to it. I've got a busted cell phone that I do about half my surfing of this forum on, on which the "down" button doesn't work and so I have to use the crappy one-line-at-a-time scroll knob, and you don't see me complaining about it.

Besides, one new episode, rumored to have been scripted, boarded, and all but animated already during the first season (or was that Endless Eight?), and no more to follow for at least three weeks, does not yet an "active series" make. Once we get into Sigh, or better yet Disappearance, when there are no more "previously aired" episodes, then complain away if they still haven't moved it.

Or even better yet, don't, since it'll just get bumped back into "Older Series" again a few weeks later.

It was Endless Eight, yeah.

Here's a interesting question, imagine you go to the same school as Haruhi, and know absolutely nothing about her until her infamous self introduction, How would you see her? Would you try to join the SOS Brigade?

No sane person would try to join the SOS Brigade. Haruhi just lacks the social skills to get people to want to join voluntarily.

I'd attempt to pretend both her and her Brigade don't exist.

Why would I want to be involved with something that just screams "trouble"?

Because you secretly desire a world full of aliens and mysteries but are waaaaaaay too cynical to admit it, even to yourself.

Actually, I prefer that such things stay in fiction. Where I'm safe.

How can we tell?

I mean, you would tell us that you're not lying, but if that in itself was a lie...

But maybe I want you to think that I'm lying so that you think I'm not lying but that if I was lying I wouldn't actually be lying but I'm really lying but not.

I'd find her amusing. With the exception of her treatment of Mikuru during Sigh, I've always found her amusing. Seeing her as a real person wouldn't change that. (Keep in mind we also have to take into consideration that we wouldn't know she's a subconscious reality warper.)

As for the Brigade thing, if we're just going from her introduction and known actions shortly after the founding, yes, I'd attempt it. If declined(which I probably would be), I'd either shrug it off or try and sneak in anyway via joining the literature club, depending on how masochistic I were feeling that day

That's a lot of insane first-years in volume 9.

... if you're going to continue this, then one of you had better switch to a Koizumi avatar

No, I'm saying that you're a liar.

Therefore, you're lying about me being a liar about being a liar about being a liar.

About being a liar.

Like I said. One of you switch to a Koizumi avatar if you want to continue. It's annoying to see two Kyons arguing over who's the liar.

I'm using a Nagato avatar. I'm allowed to lie. Not that I am, anyway.

... Damn it, don't drag me into this!

Under normal circumstances, I'd use a cheap reference here. Unfortunately, I've forgotten what Lelouch said about lies.
