Haruhi stopped her hair ribbon/hair style changing habit after Kyon commented on it. That's all. It doesn't mean that everyday then 'becomes Monday' Tho, with her I wouldn't be surprised if it did

I noticed in the flashback of her dumping her "5 minute boyfriend" she also had yellow ribbons. It seems odd that the show would introduce such a casual/meaningless flashback (unless she dated him on a monday), so I'm curious if the "starting over" notion of Monday's means anything significant. Or if perhaps it was just an affecation she picked up for her current school. And her "current" hairstyle was the way she wore it previously.

mmmm....yeah.

well it didn't show up in the novel except Haruhi mention something about vaguely remembering him in middle school, and suspecting him to be a stalker and the general rant about him being disgusting.

i have a feeling that scene was put in as a substitute for the extra dialogue and to partly to explain why that bloke knew about Haruhi's dumping situation, by suggesting he was the one who had experienced the 5min record

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but KyoAni now has its own site for Suzumiya Haruhi:
http://www.kyotoanimation.co.jp/haruhi/

There is a staff blog, which hasn't really got going yet.

Let's just say...it blew my mind! It's so clever, because if you look into what that book is about.....time travellers, alien sentient-machines.....a seer/priest with super natural powers.....a God being in human form...it sound awfully familiar to certain characters in haruhi.... all....interesting stuff....
How many among us rushed out to the nearest used book store and picked up "The Fall of Hyperion" by Dan Simmons? I know I did.

And I don't know if this has been mentioned either, but Memento has a great page where he's collecting info about the show, including caps and words to OP/ED, downloadable OP/ED, etc., etc.

And of course, there is the fast-growing English wiki:

Sorry for the double post.

HOLY SHIT the spoilers are getting me excited! This is absolutely crazy, and a bounce back from a slightly-disappointing 3rd episode (raw).

Edit: the wiki Haruhi-ism page was just deleted recently , but that was because the patrols googled it and only 7 results came up.

well, Ironically if you google it now, you'll get 56 hits. lololol.

I really should of argued for it to stay

I still wonder what's the name of the tool which is mentioned by kunikida in this line: "There was this one tool where you use plaster dust to draw field lines, right? What's that called..."

I thought it was a nice "realism" touch that he didn't know the name of it... almost like a real conversation rather than "dialog".

Maybe done retrospectively by Haruhi for the 'official' site and the other by anyone but not Haruhi?

And I mentioned this before but has anyone noticed how that... Haruhi == Kasuga?

(somebody outta make a strange tidbit blurb for Haruhi... we found Kyon as a dear and a common cat's name, Ctrl + A on official website, Haruhi's quirk in the generator and so forth...)

I think it was taken from the show itself So it's kinda somewhat creditable.
