I do feel the same way too.There will be a broadcasting gap between May-25 and June 15 too. That's gonna be between ep6 and 7 Anyway this is good since I can watch the other animes I didn't have a chance to watch during this time ^_^

I think I'm against to that partially because that's the character information actually make the anime or manga make more interesting( for me).When I watched Shakugan no Shana,I read the wiki at the same time. The information in the wiki itself drew me closer to the anime.Quoting the storyline from the novel in a spoiler tag,that's a different story.

As long as manga and novel spoilers are labelled as such then I don't see a problem. I would probably avoid them myself as the Third is one show I'd rather follow without too many hints from other sources...

the animation and the music background is awsome... I love it from the first time I hear Honoka theme.. very top notch theme song that make me very emo , also the background music with the violin and the female chant.... very .hack/kajiura-ish.. can't wait for the full release of that song

The bogey guy remind me of "Flame of heaven" guy from SHANA NO SAKUGAN and the OS of the Alphabest that satsuke pilots in Full Metal Panic! , seems like a blend of both

Ep 3 aired on 27th April, it's ep 4 that was delayed because of Golden Week. There's no sub for ep 3 yet though...

I think I could not help you that much with the story line, but first one thing made me watch Aoi Hitomi no Shoujo regularly is because the show will run 24 episodes. Another one is it's from the Xebec,I started liking their animation style in Fafer in the Azure. The first episode didn't failed the hope I rooted for.

the Third is essentially about Honoka, a freelance 'Sword Dancer', who carries out various missions (except assassinations) with her sentient (and deadpan sarcastic) tank called Bogie in a post apocalyptic desert world. Yay, Ep 4 was worth the wait, delivering of lot of excitement and plenty of revelations...

... so a giddy Honoka finally gets her PSP and her reaction is like a kid with a new toy. The PSP is interesting, not like some huge unweildy monstrosity, but compact and small enough to fit inside Bogie. The way Bogie launches it into the air reminds me a little of Eureka 7 - in fact quick a bit of the mecha parts did.

We learn some important back story about Honoka and Bogie. Not least that Zankan built the tank for Honoka and that she had Bogie's CPU before the tank. That is very interesting and begs the question - what purpose did Bogie serve before the tank - in which other machine and where?

Of course the biggest revelation is Honoka's third eye which makes her one of the Third. This clearly gives her that awesome battle intuition which she put it to good use in the confrontation with the BlueBreaker; using it to reveal it's position. I was a little confused about their stand-off: did the BlueBreaker back off because Honoka was a Third or was it's mission to expose Honoka's use of Taboo Technology? Maybe both. The BlueBreaker remains an enigmatic enemy and I hope it has a pilot. I also hope that pilot is revealed as a major character because that would be a lot cooler than just some random npc or ai to be served up to Honoka's blade.

Poor little Milly. Zankan looks to have died in the attack and now her best friend is revealed as one of the dreaded Third. I hope they'll patch things up. I'm sure they will as this ep when to lengths to enforce their relationship.

Lastly, the Honoka fanservice was kind of amusing. At least the random shower scenes reveal she has a fine ass

Agree on the animation and characters, VA is top notch ... as for best op song... it is certainly Excellent (almost perfect)... but for some reason I like Higurashis op song more ... just can't put my finger on it... well... I say it's second best...

Basically there's this girl... who's a miniature Rambo... loves guns (old fashion guns... as in modern day guns)... she lives in a tank... her main weapon is a katana... the reason why she's called sword dancer is because her slash and dice techniques are top notch...

The tank that she lives in is one heck of a machine... guns guns and more guns... but they're shielded(hidden) by armor most of the time... *can't wait to see the too turrets next to the main gun... my bet is that they're grenade launchers*

From what I can tell the main way Haru-chan will fight is this...

• She gets into her battle suit... which is basically close to the color of the skin... and as tight as possible... showing as much of her anatomy as the animators can draw... you might say that...
  

  "When danger comes... she takes of her clothes and goes half-naked on the battle field... "
  

• Climbs into Macho-bot... it's some smaller version of the FMP Arm Slaves... I said Macho-bot because that's exactly what it is (robot with muscles... well that's what they looked like to me)... I don't know why they made the damn thing so "masculine"... must be intended to represent some sort of irony ... anyway... unlike the FMP counterparts it seems to be able to fly with ease... *maybe we get cloud fighting*
• Unfortunately there haven’t been enough ep to show what exactly is Hono-chans battle style in Guy-bot... but she seems to use some sort of cannon (1.5 - 2.0 the size of the robot... can't really tell)... loading is more like a sniper rifle... hmm... I think it's suppose to work as a machinegun as well...
• Anyway the outcome is clear... when she's on the battle field everybody gets FUBAR-ed...

Just remember one thing... Ikus is the fukin' bullshit character of the show... and the most stupid / annoying / retarded / creepy / filler character ever... when you see him coming... prepare for a filler type moment... for some reason we have been spared this week...

Remember the unidentified 'fallen' object mentioned in the first EP? That was Ikus. If I understand correctly, he is an ALIEN, and almost a relative of Nagato Yuki That's why he says he want to learn more about this world. I don't think the ppl really hate Ikus.Out of jelously ? If that's the case,I hate Ikus too, he had a chance to hold Hanoka's hands and rub somemore. Dann u ikussss! Sleeping in the same tank with Hanoka is the biggest factor I hate him
