Concerning Haji looking sad... I think there's no way he can not look sad. After all the person he cares for the most doesn't recognize him at all.

I saw the new opening and ending. I don't like the ending especially. It's nice, there are some neat moments. (btw whose hand is that?) The opening was nice. There are some weird shots of Hagi.

True. But I think he naturally looks sad, that's just his personality. Even if he was happy, I don't think he's look it. It's just how he is, it'll seem like he's always sad.

If anyone could correct, clarify or add anything to what I have gathered from the special, that would be awesome...thanks a lot!

By the way, there is a stream of the portion of the special where they introduced the new characters.

The 5 people behind Haji in the OP..... Do you think they're Chevaliars too?

Haji vs Former Comrades?

I watched some of it, but I didn't like the style... Pretty avoidable I think.

PS I re-watched the OP again. I liked it better the second time, though some bits are kinda WTF!?

I'm going to stab the scriptwriters with Haji and his little knife things if it turns out to be one of those long-lost-twin-sister things...

Now I'm pretty sure about my opinion of the OP and ED- the 2nd OP is much better than the first one, in terms of directing and music (I love the bit in the 2nd OP where there's that dark haired girl, the music is nice); but I like the 1st ED better... I can't help but love that song, it's really very very very awesome. It somehow went very well with the pictures as well. Though the 2nd ED pictures fit the song even more nicely and look nicer in general as well (interesting thing w/ the hand...)

I still wish they'd do something about the in-series animation...

Thumbs up

Having seen the series up to this point, I have to say that this is one of those cases where patience pays off. Upon first watching this, I was of course impressed with the artwork and animation and the rather good soundtrack--but the plot and characters left me feeling a bit empty.

But over a few episode I became to care about the characters (even Saya's annoyingly loud older brother) and the plot just get's more interesting as it goes on.

So now I find myself eagerly awaiting every new episode.

Well, ep 15 changes a few things, even though Saya and co don't show up at all.

Awesomeness.

As much as I think Kai is pretty boring and somewhat annoying at this point, he's got one awesome girlfriend.

Mao!!!

Have I been watching too much anime? Because I had a feeling that was going to happen after ep 14 where that biker friend of Kai's said Mao was wondering where Kai was. And Mao seems like that type of person...

At the risk of sounding increasingly annoying, cynical and lousy, I hope somebody dies soon.

Well yeah, when a "minor" character is given such prominence in a preview, it normally means something major...

I can't say I was surprised at what actually happened myself. In a certain scene, I was practically waiting for the subject of money to come up, for the reporter at least - but Mao isn't exactly the stay at home type.

I don't think there's any good candidates though, for this stage in the story. (by good, I mean someone who can make an impact without changing the dynamics too much)

As much as I love the man, I think David is going to bite the dust after the first half of the anime.

Hooray for Blood+! It rules!

So, is Solomon a Chiropitean or Cheveliar? Supposing he is, how come he does not recognises Saya straightaway, but instead realise that Saya is the Samurai-man only after he hears someone calling her name? However, Solomon seems to be on a higher level than Karl, he can speak into Karl's mind, and command him to stop. So, what is he?

Is Saya human? We know she was "asleep" for a long time time after the Vietnam War. A couple of years has passed, but she has not aged.

Spoiler:

What will Saya do now? I'm looking forward to the next episode.
