Even the looser get to write book now.
I have to wonder what exactly she did to get someone to try and publish it

Tragedy strikes:

Woman dials 999 to report snowman theft in Kent

The force said the woman, from Chatham, thought the incident required their involvement because she used pound coins for eyes and teaspoons for arms.

During the call the woman said: "It ain't a nice road but you don't expect someone to nick your snowman."

Kent Police said officers had given her advice on real 999 emergencies.

The force said the call was made at the same time as operators fielded thousands of other phone calls about the heavy snowfall and sub-zero temperatures in the county.

During the conversation she said: "There's been a theft from outside my house.

"I haven't been out to check on him for five hours but I went outside for a fag and he's gone."

When she was asked who had gone, the woman replied: "My snowman. I thought that with it being icy and there not being anybody about, he'd be safe."

She was then asked whether it was an ornament, and answered: "No, a snowman made of snow, I made him myself.

"It ain't a nice road but at the end of the day, you don't expect someone to nick your snowman, you know what I mean?"

Never knew it existed until now. Kudos for being the first space shuttle to travel in space on auto-pilot.

Actually this prize would go to Buran (or maybe to one of its small sized predecessors).

But it still has credits for the length of the mission.

Japanese retailer to pull Nazi outfit after complaint

Aico, a Japanese party goods maker, has made the costume for seven years and never had a complaint, said spokesman Nobuyoshi Nasuzawa. He said his company uses distributors and so wasn't aware of which retailers sold it.

Egyptian Official: Israel Could Be Behind Deadly Shark Attack

Quote:
http://www.foxnews.com/world/2010/12...ttack/#content

Egyptian official believes that Israel's intelligence agency might be behind the fatal shark attack of a German tourist in Sinai over the weekend, the Jerusalem Post reports.

"What is being said about the Mossad throwing the deadly shark (in the sea) to hit tourism in Egypt is not out of the question, but it needs time to confirm," South Sinai Gov. Muhammad Abdel Fadil Shousha told egynews.net.

Israeli officials told the Jerusalem Post that the claims were ludicrous and would not comment.

If I was in the Mossad, I'd be so, so tempted to agree with him. I mean, come on. Aiming killer sharks at people is so cool. It could be the eighth plague of Egypt.

it wasn't really a shark.
it was a Mossad agent cleverly disguised as a shark.
