I guess I'm a little confused about the purpose of this subforum ... since it is fundamentally an anime forum, I figured the "music" subforum was about music from anime or the japanese music industry. I'd have made a substantially different list if music of any kind were on-topic. Ah well ....

I don't really listen to anime/asian music, but anything Classical or Techno sounding is good.

Oh, and the theme song to Gantz. It had a hip hop feelin' to it....

I'm quite surprised that no one has mentioned the score from Spirited Away. That's some of the most beautiful musics I've ever heard! But other than that....I love the OST to Cowboy Bebop...and as far as J-Pop goes, definitely Puffy AmiYumi, because they're the only ones I listen to with great regularity.

Yeah, That song is really cool, in fact that is a Hip Hop group - Rip Slyme- , I have that complete song live, and another very cool music video, called Galaxy

If you are familiar with the Beastie Boys, this group is sort of like that, just a little more cliché.

A recent non-anime addition to 'my favorites' collection:

Pachabel's Canon's (interestingly, I just learned this song) electric guitar versions played by two different Asian guys.

At the Moment... mhm, probably:

M.H. - This Illusion (Fate/stay night Gamu OP)
Yuki Kajiura - nowhere (MADLAX Insert Song)

and then, the entire Saitama Saisyu Heiki / S.S.H "Atelier Iris ETERNAL MANA Arranged Tracks DECEITFUL WINGS" Album. Oh, yea... Silent Hill mastermind Akira Yamaoka's iFUTURELIST Album is also excellently excellent. <3
