Thumbs down No video (Chachamaru) Rozen Maiden Traumend 11

I've watched all the episodes or RM T up through 10 from Chachamaru fansubs, but on 11 there is no video. I tried redownloading it and I get the same results. What can I do, other than download from the other funsubber?

Even though you may have downloaded it twice, you should just check to be sure the CRC of the file is correct (that way you never have to d/l it again for no reason). The CRC would be the 8 character string in the filename, you can check it with the CCCPI or some other nifty checksum tool. In the CCCPI just goto Tools->CRC Check. As long as that CRC matches the one in the filename that at least means the file is uncorrupted.

I don't have the files myself but since they are only AVI it should be something as simple as XviD or DivX, do you have either of those installed? If you could also with the CCCPI tool if you get it goto Tools->Test Render, and copy that.

Hah well the filename clearly shows it is XviD then at least, and it seems the lovely extra DivX decoder packaged in WinDVD is taking over. Which either means DivX is taking over as the generic mpeg-4 asp decoder or you just don't have XviD installed yet. You should just have to install XviD from http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml.

By the way did you also check the CRC?

Try emailing chachamaru or see around if anyone has similar problems.
