Really ? The first thing that came out in my mind is KH when I look at the trailer

I guess because it's more interactive with its surrounding like KH did; I instantly thought of that. Though for me, somehow it's still retain that Final Fantasy feelings in it for some reasons ;(

Oh lawdy, they're really making a sequel. Lightning looks pretty damn hot in that armor. I enjoyed FFXIII so I'm game but... no more hallways please.

Thank you for a FF13 sequel. While I thought X-2 wasn't great or necessary at all, the opposite here. Think there's plenty that was left hanging in the air after the end of the last game and a sequel will be good for tackling all that. Trailer looked pretty good and did manage to make Lightning even more badass

The trailer for Versus looks great and an interesting choice on the battle system. A game that's been long in the waiting but still really looking forward to it.

The game itself looks pretty awesome. I've heard a lot of complaints about the game particularly about the battle system though.

As far as I am concerned, they better put back in what they took out of XIII; towns, free roaming, and sidequests.

Oh, well. At least XIII is going to be dirt cheap when XIII-2 comes out, so I might buy them together.

Dunno if I'm the minority here, but I was by far more intrigued and interested by Versus XIII trailer.
But is it me or... Noctis is voiced by Ono? That range of his voice is particularly unusual

Yeah sounded like Ono to me too... I was actually expecting Miyano or maybe even Fukuyama.

You're not alone. We don't know anything about FFXIII-2 yet, so I can't really get excited about it.

Noctis is voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Yuji in Bakatest), the singer of the band OLDCODEX. I definitely heard Miyano in the trailer too, but I'm not sure who he's playing.

Yeah , i'm more interested for Versus too.
Finally a gameplay , looks like Kingdom Hearts. I don't mind that , i like this gameplay

Storyline is interesting too. I kinda feel that we're back to FF8 modern age.

It's pretty damn cheap already here. Can easily pick up a copy brand new for £13.

I know it's too early to ask but do you guys think it's possible that this time around that we'd get both eng and jap dub for versus XIII, XIII-2, XIII type-0 or is it out of the question?

Pretty much out of the question i'd say. They've stuck to dub only since voices were brought into games, so i really don't see why they would change now.

I think I can agree with you for getting a eng dub for FFXIII-2 and type-0 but as for vsXIII... this is only my guess but I think the size of this game will be much more enormous than the last two games I mentioned so maybe they could implement the dubs in if there's extra space. I know I sounded a bit too demanding but I just don't like buying two game with different language... hmm... anyways, just say if i'm not making any sense at all... i'm just tired right now

any suggestion of 14th one. my bet is axe that can be used as boomerang. they lack on range side (even though most of them will use magic) and raw power

Wanted to move a few but several posts are also discussing Versus and the whole conversation between some people would end up pretty broken if I moved some posts and left others alone. I much rather have people stop the XIII-2 discussion here and move over to the new thread.

The discussion about Versus should also continue in the already existing thread for that game.

FF13 was successful and I'm guessing Square will stick with that.

Though I hope I'm wrong....
