To me, this struck me as "JoJo's Bizzare Adventure 3rd" in a "Megami Tensei" context.

Wow. Kiba was pretty interesting. I have to say Kiba REALLY reminded me of Wolf's rain. I can't put my finger on why.

So far, it's one jam-packed episode, enough to make you want more. I absolutely LOVE the background art, which is what made me follow this in the first place.

humm..likely to be.I will try to help you put your finger on something (for good of course)=P.Alot of night scenes and the main character who lose track of his life got lucky and got a cool girl,yeah,they are similar.But Kiba story-line is (as much as I had a chance to watch) more like a ps2 game.

I have extremely mixed feelings about this so far, the first episode was allright but I have a feeling its just going to turn into a boring clichéd toy commercial, I hope im proven wrong.

hmm... looks like a promising anime ..

i liked the opening song ..

but i think they should put some comedy in the anime ..

for me .. i don't like too serious animes ..

Correct me if I'm wrong but in Pokemon you don't kill your opponent to gain their powers?

Anyway Ep 2 was quite enjoyable, the tight pacing continues at a pretty breakneck speed with Zed forging alliances and enemies along the way. Even in another world Zed's got delinquent written all over him. Only in this world he gets a beating for stepping out of line. His nightmares seems to be getting pretty intense. It's a shame the mad mom only appeared in flashback. And what's with chibi Noah? Thankfully Roia got more airtime. Although I hope she doesn't just become Zed's love interest.

I liked some of the medieval style backgrounds that showed up in this episode. I also liked all the different wind powered devices. While the monster designs are pretty weak, I do like the spirits. Roia's spirit seems ludicruously weak though. Amil Gual finally made his appearance, the use of wings as weapons is pretty novel way to decapitate your enemy. He seems to be blind though, or is he just so cool he doesn't need to open his eyes?

No, but that would have made pokemon an awesome show!

Just finished watching the first episode. Looks to be an interesting story. Seems to me his mother was almost in a trance or spell like state and they sure got pissed at him when she saw the white feather and started to snap out of it. Almost like those at the hospital had something to do with her being in the state that she was. But once woken up by the feather she was no longer someone they could contain and she sure can kick butt.

Episode 2 was good

The spirit reminded me a bit of that guy in ergo proxy.. Wonder what will make him open his eyes hehe... As someone already said, to use wings as a weapons is a novel way to decapitate your enemy. Really loved the end of ep2.

As for subbers orz and kyu joined forces so its even better sub..

Actually, they were not pissed at him for breaking her trance; those guys were school officials who were staking out the hospital because they knew he'd try to visit his mother one day (Zed is a truant, and it seems truancy is taken quite seriously in that world).

I wonder what put her into that state; maybe it was a spell like you said. I hope they reveal the mystery surrounding the mother.
