Now to make noise in the thread, and also spread the thread around all the corners of the internet too.

*goes off to spam various places*

Although strangely, I can't seem to post a reply in that thread...

Yes, go spread the word, everyone! Tell everyone to come and vote "Yes"! This is our chance!

I'm in! When it detected too many "wrong password"s the system probably blocked my password reset as well. I made a new request and got through.

Well then, what other ways besides forum posts should we spread the word? Should we make a Youtube video, banners, Facebook, other things like that? I think we need to let as many people know as possible.

Creating the post on Aksys was a great accomplishment for all of us, but we can't just stop there. It's not enough.

I feel that's a pretty good way to draw in support. We just have to attract attention from other places we all frequent... blogs, other gaming/anime forums, image boards, social networks (Facebook, Twitter), etc. wherever else you go outside of Asuki, is another place to spread the wonders of Ever 17 . And then tell them about the game and direct them right to the Aksys thread and request then to show their support in the thread.

First things first, we've to post this in the these Gamefaqs message boards:

999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/96135...ons-nine-doors
(Biggest gathering of 999 fans AFAIK)

Ever 17: Out of Infinity (PC)
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/93134...ut-of-infinity
(Make a new thread in its own board, anyone interested will go there)

Ever17 (X360)
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/622419-ever17
(This would make the first thread there)

And the NeoGAF forums too:

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=421940
(The thread announcing the remake in the forums)

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=412827
(999 NeoGAF OT)

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=421986
(English Translated Japanese Visual Novel/ADV Thread)

A new thread must be created in NeoGAF with the same title as the Aksys Games board or maybe being a bit more direct and flat-out say that it's for a localization request.

Maybe GumdamAce would like to spread the word in the Gamefaqs Ever17 boards (you're ShadowBlackMage, right?) and I could post it on the 999 board (unless GA wants to post in there too).

I don't have a NeoGAF account so someone else that does will have to spread the word there.

I did both Ever17 boards, so I'll leave the 999 one to you.

I can't get on to NeoGAF for some reason, so someone else will have to do it.

I briefly wrote on the wall of the Ever17 group on MyAnimeList though it is a small group. May personally write on member walls of the group and look for visual novel groups as well.

Oh, I didn't even know there was a group there. I guess I'll join it.

I'm not sure if that'll be more effective then just focusing efforts in the couple of threads already made. At least there we know that people who are excited about the games and have an interest will be able to see our message. I feel a separate thread might die out too soon, especially if some of us aren't members there to keep it active.

Good point. I'm pretty sure people who frequent those boards will notice it an act on it.

On another note, we're up to 17 votes now on Aksys!

Made the thread on the 999 board. If you have any suggestions to catch the eyes of 999 fans, tell me, to go and edit it.

Now to find someone to take care of NeoGAF...

Perhaps by adding some more descriptions about the plot, the characters, why they would like it, etc? You could take some excerpts from the topic post.

I posted a link on the Escapist forums for Ever17 user review thread and got an idea.
You guys know any good reviews for Ever17? Gonna post them on Aksys thread so people unfamiliar with the game will hopefully find some understanding.
I already have those:

PC, Please

I don't do consoles (never have, never will), but if they release the spiffed-up version for the PC in English, I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

The original English version is endearing in its own quirky, typo-infested way, but having the revamped version would give me an excuse to play the game again from scratch.

Not that I need much of a reason to, mind you, just that I would have an excuse.

Thing is, there is no spiffed up PC version. So far, there only is an Xbox 360 version. I'd rather take the spiffed up version now, as there's no guarantee that it'll be ported onto the PC. This is probably our only chance to try to get the remake into English in some form.

...and possibly our only chance to get it cheap (at least, with respect to eBay prices) is to get the XBox360 version early...

I'll contact the NeoGAF community, once I get manual approval of my account. Gee, their registration policies are strict!
