Now if only one could do the same thing for good...

Well, I suppose donating all your money to the poor automatically counts as good, but it of course depends on your motivation, etc.
Do you really want someone to justifie rape/ point out a civilization/epoch where/when rape was ''justified'' or at least part of the habit? ( one of the problem to answer this is than the guy who will do it might be seen as ''evil'' insencitive or a jerk.)

I need a girlfriend like Mikuru but the odds of finding someone like her is one in a million.

No society has ever justified rape. They may ignore it when it does happen, especially if soldiers do it to conquered villages, but they never pretend that it is a GOOD thing.

I don't think the Vikings ever pretended that they had a problem with bridal capture. That's a bit to protracted and involved for it to be comparable to rapes you'd find in the typical post city sacking pillaging in that you couldn't really stop it... Though it might only count as rape up to Stockholm syndrome kicking in.

Also, I finally found a high resolution of that Mikuru/Tsuruya image posted awhile back. 3539 X 4452

Yay Stockholm Syndrome.

Also, I find the Vikings less a "culture" and more "isolated tribes of unlawful awesome people", but hey.

And that's less "rape" than "GRR, MUST FIND WOMAN! KIDNAP WOMAN! MARRY WOMAN!"

It's still not a good thing, though.

And that Tsuruya image is awesome.

I find referring to Vikings as "unlawful" silly. English gets it's word for law from the Norse. They had a quite detailed legal system. This was a country that had trial by Jury for Freemen. It had a system of settling dispute between parties, and awarding damages (Weregild). Women could own and inherit property, and could file for divorce. This is hardly the characteristic of a bunch of unlawful Barbarians.

The thing is, these laws didn't apply to the people the Norse went out and sacked. Robbery, pillaging, and piracy are perfectly acceptable as long as you do them to somebody else.

A society as organized as the Vikings wouldn't have permitted something like Bridal capture if they had actually had an issue with it.

I think you're missing a 3rd step. This consists almost entirely of rape.

We making a distinction here?

I think you're missing a 3rd step. Doubt most Viking raiders are going to wait patiently between the second and last step.
Okay, I'm wrong.

Still, I'd love to see their justifications for their raping.

Yeah, pretty much what I thought too.

So yeah, rape is evil.

Is it true than rape has more to do with power than the satisfaction of a sex impulse? I heard that once in class.
If true, do it mean than rape is more a means or tool, than a action by itself?

True, back on topic. I found more Doujinshi by that nifty whatever site (URL in images)

This artist is seriously fucked up.

I will admit though, that Haruhi looks really cute, all distressed and trying to wiggle out of the unwanted(?) embrace. Kyon has developed a very deviant expression here.
