At this point the 28 episode rumor is looking pretty much set. (14 old episodes plus 14 newly animated ones).

Supposedly 28. That's including the repeats, so unless they drop an episode or two for whatever reason, there will be 14 new episodes.

*e* Okay, now you're scaring me.

Logically: the question was posted two minutes before your answers. If forum activity is low and you're both regularly checking for updates to threads you're following, the simultaneous posting of two short immediate answers isn't that surprising.

Alright this is most likely going to sound stupid given the times I've heard it mentioned but what exactly is endless eight? I've only seen the original series so if it's about the new episodes I apologize.

Endless Eight is one of the chapters from Volume 5 of the light novels, The Rampage of Suzumiya Haruhi. The basic premise is that the SOS-dan is stuck in an endless time-loop spanning throughout the later half of the August month. It is the latest animated chapter to date and due to various circumstances wasn't very well received with the majority of the fanbase, which is why it has been such a popular subject of talk recently.

Hehehe, that's more informative than anything you'll get from Wikipedia.

Yeah, there's nothing that Rule 34 will never solve.

Long standing deadly rivalry? Overruled by Rule 34!

Time loop? Solved by Rule 34!

Men's impossibility to bear children? Nothing to Rule 34!

Any real significance/ridiculous AP English symbolism or just something to mess with the fans that didn't know the ending yet?
The episode director gave some comments.

Her comment on the episode is: clouds as a feeling of strangeness, and paper air planes as a hint were its theme. She reflected Kyon and the others' feelings on various things.
Her comment on Engless Eight is: she felt the same way as Kyon and the others had been watching a faraway, vague, paper airplane.

It's confirmed already.

Simply put, production time is consistency, and budget is framerate.
Even poor animation is costlier than a high-quality still shot.

Is there any poll was made to collect statistic about gender of Haruhiist?
I won't need an exact amount, an approximate of.... for example 10-90, 30-70, 50-50 should be fine

My guess is 30/70 - 30% female/70% male. That's just a guess though.

The order of the 09 airing is the chronological order of 06, with Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody(Episode "1") between Boredom and Mysterique Sign and everything else between Lone Island Syndrome and the movie. (So far...)

If you want a less snarky response: Melancholy I-VI, Boredom, BLR, Mysterique Sign, Lone Island Syndrome 1 and 2, Endless Eight x8, the Sigh episodes, Episode 00, Live A Live, Day of Sagittarius, Someday in the Rain.
