In Latin? Eeeeek! Or maybe I'm thinking of something else? ^^

(just the "I am the backbone of my network". The whole thing's unreasonable and mean).

Good stuff!
But I think i'll need permission to modify it and somehow slap my name on there (and maybe a tad smaller if you could please )
Thanks for giving me the chance to cover my signature area's nekkid butt

Do you still have my saber sig saved somewhere by chance? I've saved it on the computer and it seems that everything added up to 50kb, then again it has the word "copy" appended to it. Just want to know what the size of it was.

If you combine text with an image, we require it to be two lines or less and the image(s) to be 120 pixels tall or less.

Please go through and check to see if your signature compiles with the rules. The Sig makers here put a lot of time and effort into making the Sigs for you. Thanks.
Just wondering...

What if you place the same picture twice (from the same link)... isn't it technically loaded just once...

In that scenario... would that count as the size of the original or the size of it as if they were loaded both as separate images...

I'm asking this because I'm curios if people can use a signature sliver multiple times in a single signature without affecting the size

Or are they both loaded separately... as individual images

Lol wanna be careful I think I put too much text on there as it is :P, tried to make it like a newspaper background saying "SOS BRIGADE VICTORIOUS!!!" and "SOS Brigade wins by a landslide!". Being how Haruhi loves to win I made it look like she would hug me to death .

Sorry, I don't have a copy of it, but the version you were using was over 90KB. Maybe you were using the original by accident? It was a very nice Sig image. Would love to see you using it again.

Thank you! But it seems to lead to a very different interpretation, an interesting one though.

We count each image as a separate image regardless if it's the same image from the same URL. If we didn't, then someone could have a signature like this:

________________

--------------------

Which would be quite annoying. If we count the combined dimensions (width/height) of all images, then we have to count the combined files size of all images...regardless of whether or not they're the same image.

They're both loaded separately because the browser has to render the image in multiple spots on the web page.

Don’t get me wrong: I love the little Sig Slivers. They’re very cute. They remind me of "user bars". Just optimize the JPEG or GIF a little more and everything will be fine. Cheers.

Thanks. Actually its a PNG... but that's picking straws What exactly do you mean by "optimizing it a little more"? Actually all those selections PS gives when 'saving for web' are greek to me so

Ah that would be one of my intermediate ones I used to test out the effects of some alterations. Guess I either forgot to compress it or uploaded the wrong one >.< sorry about that.

You know melange, the sigs are beginning to look very military-like what with stars and the slivers looking somewhat like ribbons or rank identifications of some sort...are you picking up that old idea again?
