If you have the time and you get along well with the girl? Sure, give it a shot, see what happens. But like Chey said, it all depends on the kind of situation you're in and what questions you need to ask yourself.

If you find someone you like and can schedule enough time to be with her without screwing up your exams, then go for it. It's not like you just decide to find someone to like and get with them.

I am a little confused as to why you seem to feel so much pressure about having to have a girlfriend. It's okay to be single. If love comes, go for it. But don't feel like life is worse because you're not in a relationship.

Only a person in a relationship would say that!

Don't listen to him! Singlehood is awwwwfuuulll.

The lonely nights! The continuous looping of Jesse's Girl. The tubs of Ice cream lying disgarded on the floor as you watch "The Proposal" in tears for the 10th time. And we haven't even gotten to the embarassing parts yet...

Don't make the same mistakes I did! Life is HORRIBLE if you're not in a relationship.

Now I'm going to go into the corner of my room, curl up and cry...

I'm sorry but I'm gonna disagree. I'm single and I say the same thing. While I admit it would be nice to get a relationship going I'm perfectly fine with being alone for the time being. I find it healthier to be alone than to go around trying to force my way into any kind of relationship since that would probably end badly for someone.

I guess it just depends on where you are in life and how you feel at certain times. I know guys who are perfectly fine with their single lives right now. You are able to do things that you can't do when in a relationship.

Yet then again, Humans are social creatures and need attention and affection. Like me for example, I enjoy singlelife but am admittedly getting bored with it and am seeking the good times that you can only have with a significant other.

So it all depends.

Sometimes I wish I wasn't in a relationship. But usually it's pretty nice, so I only rarely have these seditious thoughts.

I'm sure we've all been there. But much like familial relationships they are not all smiles and sunshine. Not all cut and dry by a long shot.

I'm perfectly happy single or dating, so either way I'm not too bothered by my romantic life and its condition.

This seems to be the general consensus of people who don't care much about sex or are asexual. I wonder how much of the teenage/young adult obsession with having a girlfriend or boyfriend has to do with actual loneliness and desire for companionship?

Probably much of it is a desire for sex on demand, I would suspect!

That depends on your perspective. To be honest ... other things... can satisfy the urge for sex, particularly if you're a virgin/inexperienced and don't know what you're missing. But you can't really get a substitute for companionship and emotional support. Of course people try. Gotta love those Dating Sims and VNs. 2D FTW.

But how much intimacy can you get from a character in a game, who has only a few preset responses?

"The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence." It seems to be human nature to always want what we don't have at the moment.

People want what they don't have, even in realtive hapiness. Proven fact of life.

Hang on bro, you need to look at that again. Do you think that a jailbait is worth your love?

No, I mean that you shouldn't put yourself in a precarious position so I will have less competition.

Who do you think I am? I'm Ricky Controversy! Precarious positions are a specialty of mine. And you need to share the joy of lolis with kindred spirits such as myself.

I'm not feeling pressured, it's just that this thread goes under a couple of pages and I feel like I need to give it some love. :3

Still, I don't think it is nice of you to put yourself within the arm of the law and baiting them. Go away already! Stop coveting my lolis!
