Spoiler:

Suddenly, the image of a crossover pic in the picture thread flashes before my mind.
Although my knowledge of Fate/Stay Night is quite limited...
Spoiler for Haruhi-Shirou similarity, possible later ep spoilers:

Should we shift this to the Speculation or Ontology thread?

No! No! No!

The bat must be Ge Bolg - "The Spear of Impaling Barbed Death"

The bat already decided where the ball is going to go before it was even swung, so the predetermined 100% accuracy must mean it is Ge Bolg, the spear that cannot miss.

Now that I've thought about it, both the anime and the mangas didn't use Itou-san's original design for the 神人, did they? Itou-san's original version was more... human-like. Eh.

moe experts will probably find this "just-before-bite" shot more moe than the actual bite shot?

oh please do not let this thread degenerate into stupid comparisons between one set of anime (Fate/stay night) to another (Suzumiya Haruhi). They are different anime with different story, so it's pointless to discuss about such things. I don't want to see such a magnificent sakuga-quality anime degrade itself into the likes that I see over at the Naruto forum.

I liked the bit right after Haruhi and Mikuru changed into cheerleader costumes.
Haruhi was playing around with Mikuru's hair, and made a ponytail. Then she looked at Kyon, and let go.
It means that the event related to it will be shown.

Haruhi plays around with Mikuru so often, she's certainly backing up her claim that she doesn't care if it's a male or female, as long as they're interesting to her.

Haruhi's smile at the end was great, and was actually her first tender moment in the show. (not counting the beginning of the op where she grab the hand)

I think Yuki steals the spotlight in this episode... except for a few very short moments when the other characters get to shine.

Well, she was touted as the MVP of the game by Kyon in the original novel.

There's one particularly amusing sequence of sounds near the end,
Spoiler:
Just the way those all rush by in rapid succession ends up sounding rather cool.

Mikuru Asahina

I really like her character in the book, but the voice in the anime just doesn't suit me(to put it that way...I don't like any lolita voice...)
