im new:possible to recontinue the download

im new to this so i dont really know much but i was downloading 2 torrent files and so i left my pc on all night and i went to go check in the morning and the pc was hibernating so i turned it back on when i get to the descktop the client was closed. so i checked in the file and they didnt finishso im wondering if there is any way to start downloading where i left off

Yeah, just restart the torrent cllient, and it should resume. Thing is though, bittorrent tends to pick up speed the longer you leave it running. You need to fix your settings, so the PC does not hibernate.

the thing is i did restart the client but the files are now considered video files and no longer torrent i can actually play one file but it is not perfect it freezes frame some times but it did not download the full thing maybe trying a diff client will work? dont know took forever to get to that point

Get the .torrent again and point it at the existing files if you're having problems.

Yes... Hibernation kills all processes you might have running.
If you want to save electricity turn off your monitor.
Its uses alot of energy.
