Can I go a few weeks without anime? Of course. But, why? It's something to do when I get bored, and nobody gets harmed by it. It's not a bad thing to me.

It'll be almost impossible for me. I don't even want to think about it. That's all.

Weeks without anime isn't a problem. Been without anime for months as well, but at the moment there's no need for that . My current flavor of addiction is working out but since I need rest also, I can watch anime on my "downtime".

I don't really have a problem without Anime, i like watching the new Clannad every week but thats the only series im watching just now.

Although i did rewatch Kanon 2006 the other week, proboly cause it's one of my fav's, same with Haruhi Suzumiya, i like to watch a few episodes every few weeks, but i don't feel like i'm an addict and watch Anime every day heh.

Been there three months! Eat it.

Though I just watched the new Gunslinger Girl raw on youtube so I guess my streak is over.

Hold on,,, India doesn't have anime?!?! THIS IS MADNESSS! Anyways, I'd try to blatantly watch moldy reruns of old cartoons, trying NOT to think about the lack of anime,,, and I'd miserabilly PHAIL. I like my anime.

to me anime is just something you watch to release stress, i could be going out, reading, practicing a sport, playing a videogame etc etc.
basically it anything to avoid staying iddle once you are done with all the otherstuff you have to do aka a hobby.
i dont remember being eagerly waiting for the next episode of an anime except when i was 10years younger and wanted to see the next evangelion episode until i realized it sucked cause the story promising at first started to go to shitter lol.

Your grammar isn't very good for a bookworm...

I probably could do it without getting very depressed, but I then should be travelling and doing something fun somewhere... One of the reasons I watch anime so often is that I hate my pathetic life.

i've managed to survive w/o anime for over four months, but it was easy considering that i have another addiction to feed on (books and writing). removing the other two would definitely drive me insane.

I really love anime, and I'm somewhat addicted, but I don't think I'm addicted enough to where I couldn't survive without it. I recently went three months without anime, and though I really wanted to in that time, it didn't drive me nuts. So, I can survive wthout it for a while, but I'd rather not.

Now, if you asked me the same question about J-rock, then it'd be different XD.

I could do it anytime I want. In fact, I've barely been watching any anime at all recently besides Gundam 00. I have something else occupying my idle time right now

Been a while since I watched DS9, unfortunately I've hardly ever found anyone who likes it as much as I do, especially over the other series in the franchise.

Oh, on topic for a sec.

Yes.

And no.

And don't challenge me, I don't like that.

Three weeks without food,
Three days without water,
Three minutes without air...

...Three seconds without anime.

Well I always say that, "there's more to life than anime". I just lived a week or two without it. Besides, I got other channels to watch, heck my cup of tea for something like that... Future Weapons (Discovery Channel)!

OOO That challenge is probably not something I can do....My life is School, Shoalin, WoW, and Anime......You take away anime, I'd play WoW alot more than what I already do..(About 7 hours on weekdays and 18 hours on weekends...I'm addicted to it as well..xD)..and since I only have Shaolin on Tuesdays and Thursdays for about 3 hours.....It would screw up the balance man! SCREW UP THE BALANCE! You never want to mess with the balance....

Not really an anime addict (yet xD).

But I won't delay watching the animes I scheduled to watch for a shallow reason, like I won't stop watching for the sake of participating in a forum activity like this one.
