The UK Big Brother 2006 Thread

Tonight is the night people. BB06 Whooo! (I'm sad, I know)

Yet again, we get to see random freaks make absolute shows of themselves live on national television. (UK) It's all for the good of humanity though so it's ok.

I personally love this show, I'd like to say there is some sort of analytic/scientific reason why I do, but basically I just like laughing at stupid people. Fame-hungry egotistical Idiots entertain me, go figure...

Anyway, love it or hate it, it's always fun to judge people.

Well, I doubt anyone here even cares about this but I thought I'd give it a try anyway.

True. But this is the Genaral Chat Forum. If we can talk about Thighs we can talk about anything, right?

BB has kinda degenerated into a freak show of morons and attention whores. There's never anyone remotely "normal" on it. They dropped the interesting bits of how people are reacting to BB by the analysts. Nah just put some footage of them sleeping... or worse!

I think the Kinga and the wine bottle last year put off me the show. Urgh that was horrible...

Yeah, I think I'll just let this thread die and continue to talk about it elsewhere.

To be honest I don't know what I was thinking making this thread here.

Oh wow, that's awesome. I remember watching the first few of these! I'm surprised they haven't done something like this over here actually. I seriously need to get my girlfriend to watch this and say to her, 'Well, you wanted to see the type of people that came from where I use to live'. I'm laughing just thinking about it.

People still watch Big Brother?

I don't know how it is in other countries, but after the first two seasons here in Sweden they stopped having a diverse "cast" in the house, now there are just bimbos and mimbos constantly drinking and acting like complete morons. You can feel your braincells comitting suicide in protest while watching it.

Because things that go "bump" in the night are good.

So anyway, what are your thoughts on Julius Caesar.?

I am at a loss at how anyone can enjoy a "reality" TV show, they frustrate me to no end, not only are they about as far from reality as they can get but all the people in them are either totally crazy or stupid and loud, the only reality tv show I've ever enjoyed watching is the Ultimate Fighter and just because they may all bitch at each other but at the end, they beat the shit out of them, which is also far from reality but it give me a testostorone fix, nothing beats the bastard rule.

BB is on in Australia. Even the Oz Prime Minister said the show should be axed, this was after one of the male contestants decided to give one of the female contestants a turkey slap. Now what's a turkey slap? You will have to guess that one. Needless to say, it aint nice. The show is disgusting.

Ha Ha! Sounds great.

And to be honest, your Prime Minister really should have more important things to do than watching and commenting on Big Brother.
