People pointing out these sites reminds me of when I first got here. I'm a 30 minute bike ride to Shimokitazawa, where Someday's Dreamers takes place. Actually have a few pictures, see if you can spot their place in the show:

The best time of the year to visit Lake Kizakiko is during the summertime. The area around there, which is in Nagano Prefecture, is actually a summer vacation spot to escape the humid heat (it's also a ski resort in winter). Although winter times are gorgeous as well, the green-ness during the summer is breathtaking. It really helps if you go there to escape the harsh and stressful lives in the metropolitan areas.... and unlike urbanites, people here are very friendly.

Lake Kizakiko has also become a sort of Mecca for anime enthusiasts due to the popularity (at least to otakus) of "Onegai Teacher" and "Onegai Twins." The first thing that you see at the un-inhabitated Uminokuchi Train Station (the train station where Maiku "proposed" to Miina at the of Onegai Twins) is a fan-made shrine of Onegai Teacher and Twins goods. I assume some person in the States or outside of Japan had visited here as I saw a copy of an English version of the Onegai Teacher manga (very interesting!) at the make-shift shrine.

When you visit Japan and if you loved the "onegai" series, plan a trip to Lake Kizakiko as well! Make use of the above mentioned maps, and tour like an otaku of memorable sceneries and locations of the Lake Kizakiko area.

(German accent)Very interesting.

I'm impressed by the detail the makers went into making the anime. Though I felt the anime sort of mediocre.

Are you are looking for Japanese fonts for your computer? What version of Windows do you have? Or, are you looking for how to write that phrase in Japanese?

That's cool - you're doing well! In case nobody has said so yet, welcome to AnimeSuki Forums (even though you've been here almost as long as I have)!

Q about Onegai Teacher

I bought the Onegai Teacher DVD's today and while watching the first episode the following thing happened : Right after Kei helps to move Mizuho's boxes into her house they have a conversation, he then runs away but kicks over a box, the goodies in the box are shown in a blurred way (the way the mess up faces in tv news sometimes to make them unrecognisable), it is the scene right before he gets teleported into the spaceship.
I want to know if this (the deliberate hiding of the box' contents) happened too in the fansubs and what was in the box.
I really hope I didn't buy an edited version because I'd get rather upset about that...

thx in advance
