Providence's DRAGOONs will lose to Sazabi's funnels, because its smaller and better controled via psycoframe, aside from remote wepaons, Providence really doesn't have much esle aside from a rifle and 1 saber, while Saz has more impressive weaponry" shotrifle, 2 sabers, torso cannon, etc.

Even a non-rabid CE fan should admit that Char GOT THIS.

Now Gelgoog vs GuAIZ sounds more interesting. I'll say my 2 cents on this subject later, however

Char...I think 2 full series and an OVA plus countless novels about his skills and development gives you the proper evidence to understand why he would beat Rau, who is a NT but not even on the same level as Char who is a true NT...Don't get me wrong I respect the hell outta Rau, but his C.E. accomplishments pale in comparison to Char's totality of history...Obviously Obi-wan will pick anybody not UC since she has a PMS-strike vs. UC (BTW when Kira beat Rau he wasn't 96.3465% God like he was in GSD so you can throw that analysis outta the window like most of everything you discuss) and demongod86 who I had thought turned the corner will still pick anything AU over UC aswell...Char wins because Char has the history of development and victories that Rau does not have...Couple that with the fact Rau's psuedo NT skills are crap compared to Char's REAL NT skills that are more than a flash vs. C.E. Naturals and Coordies who share a similiar gene quality as him...Char has NT skills all the time, not just vs. gene brothers...

I think you have an easy answer of who to vote for...

And wingdarkness' UC homerism is not surprising in the least. I could actually predict the outcome of this poll before it was even made because 96.3465% that think Kira is God are probably the same 96.3465% that think UC is God's gift to Gundam and that anything non-UC should be stricken from the record. Case in point, UC homers make me sick and the outcome of this poll is only more reason to continue thinking that way.

BTW, I thought Kira was the one who beat Rau? Sure, his suit lost an arm and a leg, etc. but Freedom took down most of the dragoons and sliced off both Providence's arms and delivered the finishing stab. I thought that was pretty cool.

All I know is from what I've seen, Char is awesome; I never did see Rau, so that's my opinion - I think Char's pretty powerful. He has a mini-series (or OVA, sorry, I'm not too into Gundams) named Char's Counterattack. There hasn't been a Rau's Attack or Rau's strike, so I think Char's more powerful.
