Problem playing FnT's The thrid mkv files
Fist of all, I'll start with my system specs. I'm running Fedora Core 5 and mplayer's MPlayer dev-SVN-r18639-4.1.0, Mplayer's livna's rpm build and xine v0.99.4 with xine-lib-1.1.1-10.lvn5
Up to now I haven't had any problem playing any other mkv file with my mplayer build (I had been using livna's build). However, when trying to play FnT's mkv files I got the following output Playing The Third - 01 [FnT-264][F2D6D960].mkv. [mkv] No video track found/wanted. [mkv] No audio track found/wanted. Matroska file format detected. No stream found. Thinking it could be solved by downloading mplayer's lastest snv code, I got it and manually compiled it myself (getting the latests x264 and xvid releases while I was at it). However the problem still was the same. I tried then installing xine, and to my surprise it worked. However, it seems I have some problem with the mkv filter configuration, since every mkv it plays comes with some weird green artifacts (like the ones in the image attached,) ![]() ![]() I know it isn't the case of the files being corrupted since I can perfectly play them on my Ubuntu box (however over there I just had to run easyUbuntu so... ) , however I would like to play them on my Fedora box... any suggestions?PS: Just for the record, I already tried with vlc, but I couldn't even get it to play any mkv file at all...(I both tried the rpm and compiling the source myself to no avail...)
