Rpg Recommendations

At the moment i currently own Final Fantasy 6 to X-2, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, Dragon Quest 8, Eternal Mana, Star Ocean 3, Tales Of Legndia and Wild Arms 3.

I have completed all but 3 of the games so i was wondering if someone could recommend some games to buy. I live in the U.K but i can play import games

If you're into SRPG's definitely try Final Fantasy Tactics & Disgaea (Nippon Ichi has made a lot of them, but Disgaea is the only one I've played)

90% of the RPG's I've played are for PS1, so If you don't care about graphics I can mention a few:

Xenogears
Suikoden series (III, IV and V are for PS2)
Chrono Cross

...

Shit, I thought I could remember more than 3 games.

VALKYRIE PROFILE!! that game has an immense amount of atmosphere.
Final Fantasy Tactics
Xenogears
Suikoden 1 and 2

Apart from FF7 I think those are the best RPG's on any console (and they're all PS1 lol).

EDIT: I stand corrected, Tales of Phantasia on good ol' SNES was amazing too

i recommend the classic mmorpg game ragnarok. In graphics its not to compare with WoW or stuff like that but the gameplay and skills and money and items are very balanced and its even created in an anime style. for the official server u gotta pay each month, but dont have to pay for the game itself. you can also play on private servers where u dont have to pay anything. If you want to do that just enter "xaosro" in google and youll find something.

Final Fantasy Tactics is good if you don't mind trying a SRPG. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, is even better. However, it's very rare. It's also significantly harder than FFT. I'd stay away from FFTA for the GBA. Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis for the GBA is massivly inferior to TO:LUCT as well - although the main character is very interesting after having played LUCT.

I'll add yet another recommendation for Xenogears. I would go so far as to say it's the best rpg on the playstation.

Valkyrie Profile is highly unconventional in both story and gameplay. If you like tragedies then you'll love it. The dungeon exploration plays more like a 2-D platformer than a traditional rpg.

Vandal Hearts is a good strategy rpg.

And +1 to Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Valkyrie Profile and Suikoden 1 and 2, all very very good games.

edit: Mustn't forget Star Ocean the Second Story, totally awesome rpg

Since you have FF6, haven't considered trying old school FF 4? And what about old school Secret of Mana (more active) or Ogre Battle (more on the strategy side)? If that's too old try Legend of Mana, or Sword of Mana (trying to expand the selection already mentioned, there are quite good suggestions). I second FF Tactics (more on the strategy side) Vagrant Story (looong, even for an RPG), Valkyrie Profile and Xenogears (a little old, but really interesting, if you like mechs and a more interactive control).

Tales Of Legndia
I'd reccomend Tales of Symphonia if you have a Gamecube. Also, get Tales of Phantasia if you have a GBA. If you don't have either, Tales of the Abyss is coming state-side this year, and you can buy it when it comes out.

I'd also reccomend the Breath of Fire series. BoF III is currently my favorite RPG.

I'll back that one up, BoF 3 is one of the best RPG's on PSX, lovely characters (Momo FTW!) good story, and a kickass battle system. Add to that the fact you can mix and match genes together to form different dragons that the main character can turn into, and you've got a very awesome game.

BoF 4 is also great, though the Dragon system isn't as good.
